Today, as Mothers’ Union members gather in prayer, fellowship and remembrance, the Parish of Modimolle both mourns and celebrates the faithful lives of our beloved Mothers:

Mrs Francina “Nelly” Makafane
and
Mrs Raesetja Mary Mathekga

These devoted women served God faithfully within the Church, their families, and the community. Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we give thanks to Almighty God for their witness of faith, love, humility and perseverance. Their labour in the Lord shall never be forgotten.

As Mothers’ Union members, we stand together in prayer and comfort, trusting in the promise of Christ:

“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.”

🕊️ BEREAVEMENT NOTICE OF THE LATE MRS FRANCINA MAKAFANE

Dear Parishioners,

It is with deep sorrow and sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs Francina Makafane, a faithful parishioner of St. Stephen’s Anglican Church, Phagameng, and a devoted member of the Mothers’ Union.

We give thanks to Almighty God for her life, witness, and faithful service within the Church and the community. As the Parish mourns this great loss, we humbly request your prayers for her children, the Makafane family, relatives, and loved ones during this time of bereavement, that the Lord may comfort and strengthen them with His grace and peace.

Further arrangements and funeral details will be communicated in due course.

“Rest eternal grant unto her, O Lord, and let light perpetual shine upon her.”
