The Church has always faced opposition, but Jesus has already promised the victory.

“We must bow in earnest prayer for our brothers and sisters in Christ, crying out to the Lord for their deliverance. Matthew 16:18 says, 'The gates of hell shall not prevail against His church.' Surely those being persecuted must feel they are contending with the forces of evil; yet, the powers of Hell will not prevail against the followers of Christ.” — Dr. James Dobson

Join us in prayer for persecuted Christians around the world who continue to worship Jesus Christ despite immense suffering. May God strengthen, protect, and deliver them as they faithfully stand for His name.

🙏 Please join us in praying for Ps. Barry Isaacs. 🙏

We ask our JOY! Magazine family and all believers to lift Ps. Barry Isaacs before the Lord after he suffered a heart attack earlier this week.

He is currently awaiting transfer to Tygerberg Hospital, where he can receive specialised cardiac care. Please pray for God's hand over every step of the process; that the transfer happens swiftly, that every doctor, nurse, and specialist will have wisdom, discernment, and compassion, and that Ps. Barry will receive the very best care.

Pray too that he will experience deep peace and restful sleep as he waits, and that the Lord will strengthen and encourage his family during this time.

We stand in faith, believing that the Great Physician is at work. Please keep Ps. Barry and his loved ones in your prayers and trust God with us for healing, strength, and a full recovery. ❤️🙏

Declaration Over the Church

Matthew 5:14 (NKJV) – “You are the light of the world…”

We declare that the Church in South Africa will rise in influence and purity.
The Church will not be silent—it will be bold.
It will be a light in darkness and a voice of truth.
It will serve communities and transform lives.
The Church will fulfil its mission in this nation.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, Thank You for Your Church. Cause us to rise in purity and power. Make us bold, not silent—shining as light in the darkness and speaking truth with love. Use us to serve, to heal, and to transform lives, fulfilling its mission, united and empowered by Your Spirit.
