Dearly beloved,

It is with great joy that I inform you that our door-to-door caroling, on November 8, 14, and 15, greatly surpassed our expectations. We thank God almighty for His blessings.

Over the course of three days of joyful caroling, more than thirty participants, parents, youths, and children, travelled more than 300 kilometres across the length and breadth of Johannesburg and Pretoria. We filled every home we visited with carol songs, joy, laughter, and the spirit of fellowship. I have also been receiving an overwhelming number of joyful responses regarding the caroling.

I would like to take this moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to all those who joined the caroling troop, regardless of age. I thank all the families who hosted the group in their homes, and I offer special gratitude to the families who hosted dinner during the three days of caroling. Thank you to all who contributed, whether in cash or in kind, and to the organisers who coordinated the caroling.

God bless

H.E. Antonios Markos has left us for his eternal heavenly abode.

We the faithful of St. Thomas Indian Orthodox Church of South Africa are deeply indebted to His Eminence.

Before the building of our church premises in Midrand ,HE and the faithful of the Coptic Orthodox Church graciously shared their church and monastery with us for the Holy Week services in the past .

I was blessed to visit His Eminence and to receive his blessings just two months ago.

HE Mathews Mar Thimotheos ,our former Metropolitan, HE Abraham Mar Stephanos, our current Metropolitan and all our former vicars also shared warm relations with His Eminence and with the Coptic Orthodox Church of South Africa.

Even though HE couldn't attend the consecration ceremony of our new church ,a delegation was there to attend on his behalf .

On behalf of the faithful of the parish and my own behalf, I extend my heartfelt prayers and condolences to the Coptic Orthodox Church of South Africa on the passing of their great and beloved shepherd.

Go in peace, Father.

Fr. Jobin Mammen Cherian
Vicar,
St. Thomas Indian Orthodox church, South Africa

Dear all,
By the grace of God, our program *Glow 2025* has concluded very successfully. A group of organisers have been working diligently on this event for the past two months. Through God's grace and our good teamwork, Glow has turned out to be a great success.

I would like to thank all the organisers, teachers, parents, contributors (both in cash and in kind), technical supporters, and our beloved children for making Glow such a memorable event. Please, do bring your children again for next year's Glow!
Thank you and God bless
