SUNDAY RECAP

📖 Acts 16:25–34
🎯 Prayer That Breaks Chains

Three truths we learned:

• Prayer can sustain you before God changes your circumstances.
• God often uses your midnight season to display His power.
• A praying believer can become a witness that impacts an entire household.

The goal is not merely to have a prayer meeting in the church. The goal is to establish a culture of prayer in every home.

Let's move from the Upper Room to the Living Room.

What are you trusting God for in prayer this week?

🔥 THE SPIRIT EMPOWERS PRAYER 🔥

Pentecost did not begin with power.

It began with prayer.

Before there was wind from heaven, there were believers waiting before heaven. Before there was harvest publicly, there was prayer privately in the Upper Room.

This Sunday we were reminded:
• Prayer is dependence on God
• The Spirit comes where prayer continues
• The Holy Spirit empowers ordinary people to become bold witnesses for Christ

Acts 2 proves our yearly theme:
“No Prayer, No Harvest.”

When prayer and the Spirit come together… harvest follows.

🌸 PRAYING MOTHERS: SHAPING DESTINIES THROUGH INTERCESSION 🌸

Some of the greatest spiritual battles are fought in secret.

Long before Timothy became a leader, sincere faith had already been cultivated in a home through the prayers and influence of Lois and Eunice (2 Timothy 1:5).

This Sunday we were reminded that:
• Faith is transferred through relationship
• Hidden intercession produces visible destiny
• Christ is the true source of transformation

Prayer is not wasted.

What is cultivated in secret… will one day become visible.

And because Jesus is still the mediator between God and mankind, we do not pray without hope.

🙏 Continue praying.
🙏 Continue interceding.
🙏 Continue trusting Christ.

FROM THE UPPER ROOM TO THE LIVING ROOM

Many believers pray…
But very few households pray.

What if revival doesn’t begin in a church service…
but in your home?

This Sunday’s message challenged us with one powerful truth:

👉 “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” (Joshua 24:15)

This is not about perfection.
This is about decision.

When a home chooses the Lord:

* The Word becomes central
* Prayer becomes normal
* God’s presence becomes real

And everything begins to change.

🏡 It’s time to move from:
Upper Room encounters → Living Room transformation

FROM PRAYER TO HARVEST

We don’t just pray…
we are sent.

Jesus said:

“The harvest is plentiful… but the laborers are few.” — Matthew 9:37

This Sunday we were reminded:

• Jesus sees people differently — with deep compassion
• The harvest is ready — the need is real
• Prayer is not the end — it is the beginning
• Those who pray… become those who go

We heard a powerful reminder that one moment of obedience can impact eternity.

You never know what God will do through a conversation, a prayer, or an invitation.

🙏 Don’t stop at prayer.
Step into the harvest.

Today is Resurrection Sunday — and everything changes.

The stone is rolled away.
The tomb is empty.
Death is defeated.

Jesus is alive.

What looked like the end… was actually victory.
What looked like defeat… was the greatest triumph.

This is our hope. Not just then — but now.

Sin no longer has the final say.
Shame no longer defines you.
Death is not the end of your story.

Because He lives — we live.

So today the question is:
• Am I living like He’s alive?
• Does my life reflect resurrection power?

Don’t just celebrate it. Live it.

Walk in freedom. Walk in victory. Walk with Him.

“He is not here; he has risen, just as he said.” — Matthew 28:6 (NIV)

Today is Holy Saturday — the quiet in-between.

Jesus is in the tomb.
The promises feel distant.
Hope feels buried.

It’s the day where nothing seems to be happening…
but everything is already in motion.

This is the space we don’t like —
waiting, wondering, not understanding.

But just because God is silent… doesn’t mean He is absent.

Just because you can’t see it… doesn’t mean He isn’t working.

So today the question is:
• Will I trust Him in the waiting?
• Can I hold onto faith when I don’t see the outcome?

Stay steady. Stay anchored.

Sunday is coming.

“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” — Exodus 14:14 (N

Today is Good Friday — the day it looked like darkness won.

Jesus is beaten. Mocked. Crucified.
The innocent for the guilty. The perfect for the broken.

It doesn’t look “good.”
It looks like loss. Like defeat. Like the end.

But this is the moment everything changes.

Sin is paid for.
Grace is made available.
The veil is torn — and we are brought near.

This is love — not shallow, not easy, not cheap.

Costly. Sacrificial. Complete.

So today the question is:
• Do I really understand what it cost?
• Am I living like it matters?

Don’t rush past the cross.

Sit in it. Remember it. Let it change you.

“But he was pierced for our transgressions… by his wounds we are healed.” — Isaiah 53:5 (NIV)

Today is Maundy Thursday — the night of humility, service, and surrender.

Jesus washes His disciples’ feet.
The King kneels. The Saviour serves.

Then He breaks bread and shares the cup — knowing exactly what’s coming.

And later, in the garden, He wrestles in prayer:
“Not my will, but Yours.”

This is what love looks like.
Not just words. Not just emotion.
Surrender. Obedience. Sacrifice.

So today the question is:
• Am I willing to serve when it’s uncomfortable?
• Am I surrendered… or just saying I am?

Following Jesus isn’t about convenience.
It’s about laying down our will for His.

Even when it costs.

“Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.” — John 13:14 (NIV)

Today is Spy Wednesday — the day Judas chose betrayal.

It didn’t happen all at once.
It was a slow drift… compromise… misplaced priorities.

Until eventually, he traded Jesus for silver.

It’s easy to look at Judas and think, “I’d never do that.”

But betrayal doesn’t always look dramatic.
Sometimes it looks like choosing everything else over Him.
Ignoring His voice. Justifying sin. Living divided.

So today the question is:
• Where am I compromising?
• What am I putting ahead of Jesus?

Because whatever we prioritise over Him… eventually replaces Him.

But even here, there’s a warning — and an invitation.

Come back before small compromises become big consequences.

Choose Him again. Fully.

“No one can serve two masters…” — Matthew 6:24 (NIV)
