IDENTITY CRISIS OF THE BRIDE OF JESUS
(I noticed this morning when I woke up that the sermon I wrote 6 years ago was trending so I decided to re-post it, I trust it will bless you😀)
As I have been spending time "alone" time, with the Lord over the past couple of weeks, realizing the seriousness of the hour we live in, I kept hearing the Lord say, "My Bride is not ready", "How can she prepare herself when she does not even know who she is."
Jesus Christ the groom is ready, the tables in heaven are ready, all dressed in white cloth, beautiful decorations, angels are ready with trumpets, everyone keeps looking at the door, waiting for the woman of the hour, the woman who the Lamb has waited all eternity for, the spotless bride, the WIFE of the Lamb, where is she??
Well, the truth is, she is not ready. She doesn’t even have a wedding gown on. The worst thing is this, the Bride does not even know SHE IS BRIDE!! She has an identity crisis
So today, I would like to speak about the identity crisis of the Bride (The Church).
Let us start our scripture reading with the book of Luke 15:11-20

The Parable of the Lost Son
11 Then He said: “A certain man had two sons. 12 And the younger of them said to his father, ‘Father, give me the portion of goods that falls to me.’ So he divided to them his livelihood. 13 And not many days after, the younger son gathered all together, journeyed to a far country, and there wasted his possessions with prodigal living. 14 But when he had spent all, there arose a severe famine in that land, and he began to be in want. 15 Then he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. 16 And he would gladly have filled his stomach with the pods that the swine ate, and no one gave him anything.
17 “But when he came to himself, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! 18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you, 19 and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants.”’
20 “And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him.
We have all heard this story before. The story of the prodigal son. The prodigal son went away from his father under his own free-will. He took all his inheritance and went to squander all of it, until he ended up eating with the pigs. But this is the most interesting verse in the Bible. The Bible says, when he came to HIMSELF he decided to go back home to his father. There is something that spoke within him, and told him, you are more than what you think you are. You are much more than the pigs you eat with.
He came to himself. He came to the realization of who we was. He could no longer be fooled by any Tom, Dick and Harry. The identity that he had accepted of being a “pig friend” came to an abrupt end.
Immediately after Pentecost, we notice something very strange happen to the church. The church was infiltrated with false doctrines. Satan didn’t wait for a couple of years to bring false doctrines. He started IMMEDIATELY. 2 Timothy 2:18 the Bible says, many had departed from the TRUTH, they were saying that resurrection had already taken place, and they turned many people AWAY from the faith.
I would like you to ask yourself this very important question. Why was satan sooooo adamant into bringing heresy in the church? Why was he working overtime so that he can produce false doctrines? I mean look at
2 Peter 2:1-3
2 But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. 2 And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. 3 By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does[a] not slumber.
I would like you to notice that heresies are not brought forth in broad daylight. The Bible says they are brought in “secretly”. The main reason for these heresies is to “exploit” the church so says the Bible. In other words, the only way to exploit the church is through false doctrines. I will explain later why this is so.
Acts 20:29 Peter says, I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock.
So the Apostles knew very well, satan was not going to wait. But why?? Do you know why satan is doing what he is doing? The main reason is this. It is to change the IDENTITY of the church, it is to steal the identity of the Bride of Jesus Christ. You see when we read revelations 19:7, we read,
Revelation 19:7
7 Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.”
Maybe you don’t understand how big this statement is. Let me just give you an idea. God Created the angels, different types of angels, some with no wings, 2 wings, 4 wings, 6 wings, and they worshipped him day and night, but there was no Bride.
God created the sun, the moon, different galaxies, trillions of planets, but wait, there is still no Bride.
In fact, I wonder if the angels knew that the Lamb is actually looking for a wife? I wonder if the whole creation knew that the reason behind this all, is because THE LAMB is longing for companionship, longing for wife.
So you see, when God said in the book of Genesis 2, that it is not good that man should dwell alone, God was not just referring to the first Adam, He was also talking about the 2nd Adam, Himself.
For the whole creation God created male and female. There was a male dog and a female dog. There was a male chimpanzee and a female chimpanzee. There was a male tiger and a female tiger. But for a man, there was no female found for him. Why did God do things this way?
Do you think that God “forgot” to make a woman for Adam, and only “remembered” later? Never!! God does not forget, What God does is perfect the first time. That is why he is God. God does not learn anything new. God does not know any new information today than he did not know 100 billion years ago. He IS God. Man keeps improving on their systems. Man keeps learning new things. Look at the first car that was ever invented. Look at the latest Lamborghini today. You cannot even compare the 2. Man has gradually improved his knowledge. But God made a donkey thousands of years ago. That donkey has not undergone any facelifts, It has not undergone any modifications, the donkey of 2017 has not received any software upgrade. It still does that same things that donkeys did for all the years, because God made the donkey the way it should be. He does not have to improve a donkey.
So when God created Adam, and did not create a wife for Him, why did God do that? Where was Eve all the time? We read in Genesis 1:26 that God created both male and female, but in the physical we only see One man, Adam, so where was Eve?? Eve was inside Adam. Eve was inside Adam the whole time, until God put Adam to a deep sleep. Eve was inside Adam until God opened up the side of Adam and took out Eve.
When Adam looked at Eve, he knew Eve came from within her. He said you are bones of my bones, flesh of my flesh! You shall be called a woman because you were taken OUT of a man.
What was God doing? He was writing the story of The Lamb. The Lamb had created the entire creation, yet The Lamb needed a help meet. The Lamb needed a wife. Where is the Lamb going to get his wife? The Lamb is going to get His wife from inside the Lamb.
In the same way that God performed an operation on the first Adam, He put him to sleep and opened up his side, so God did the same operation on the second Adam. He put the second Adam to a deep sleep on the cross. Then came the Roman solider with a long spear. The roman soldier pierced the side of Jesus, and out came the water the blood. What was happening, it was the birth of the church. God was performing another operation on the second Adam to take out Eve from within him.
When a woman is about to give birth, medical science will tell you that the first thing that will happen is that her waters will break. After her waters break, what follows is blood, then birth takes place. So Wife of the Lamb, the church came of Christ.
Satan knew that he was in trouble, because the church had been born. So the devil knew that, the only thing left for him to do, is to distort the identity of the Bride. Give the church an identity crisis. So that she does not know who she really is.
If you brainwash people, and hide their true identity, you can do with them anything you want. If you can take a princess from the greatest kingdom on earth, if you can brainwash her long enough, you can make her think she is a pauper, you can make her to eat rotten food in the dumps, you can turn her into a slave, why, because you have taken away from her, her real identity.
When I look at the church today, I just see how much satan has spent 2000 giving the church the wrong identity. The Catholic church started after 325 AD, they told the Bride that she should bow down to Mary “mother of God”. They told her she needed to pay money for confessions of sins. They completely took away her identity. They even took away the Bibles from everybody, in case people read the Bible themselves and find their true identity. Then God raised a Martin Luther, restored the Bible to the people, so when the enemy realized people could read the Bible themselves, he designed systems and schools that will teach for doctrine the commandments of men (Matthew 15:9), so that while people have the Bibles, he can still twist that word and still enslave the bride, and make her the wife of satan.
Television, movies, Politics, fashions, Hollywood, reality Tv’s, social media, all these things, what are they doing? They are working overtime to keep the bride from realizing who she is. When the bride is about to wake up, they add more programs of TV. Keeping up with Kardashians, Preachers of LA, Housewives of Atlanta, and the stuff keeps pouring in.
What is worse is what is happening in churches. Satan has made sure that churches not even on a blue Monday will reveal to the bride her true identity. That is why there came some very polluted “gospel” in the 50”s called prosperity gospel. What prosperity gospel did, they tried to equate the blessings of God with materialism. It took some verses of the Bible and discarded everything else. So they made God = Money. More money means more God. More money means more anointing. It is this prosperity gospel that has given way to outright witchcraft we see today, in what people call “the prophetic”.
The Bride has been completely brainwashed. She does not know who she is. She is the queen of heaven, but she if fearful. She is the queen of heaven, everything is under her feet, but she lives in fear of demons carrying some man’s photo, thinking that photo is anointed to scare the devil. She has the greatest authority under the name of her husband Jesus, yet she has been told unless she built an altar by some false prophets, she will not be successful and witches will kill her.
All creations is under her, but she is busy eating grass. The Bride of Jesus is drinking petrol. The Wife of the Lamb is paying R10 000 to see some prophet to tell her to receive a miracle. She is suffering from identity crisis.
The bride does not know who she is. So she is being exploited. She is a queen, yet she works like a slave. Worst of all, some people have told the BRIDE that she is cursed, because she did not pay 10% installment of her income to a religious institution. How is it even possible to even CURSE the Bride? Cursing the Bride is like cursing God Himself, But she doesnt know that. She doesnt know who she is. So she bows her head and gladly receives all the threats and curses from "THE MIGHTY MEN OF GOD". The Bride is now living in guilt, she cant even approach her husband in prayer, until she has paid some money to "remove" the curse.
The day she realizes who she is, she will not bow down to any man but her husband Christ. The day her eyes open, her identity crisis will be over. She will not stomach anyone trying to scam her of her identity. She will walk away from the rubbish dumps, she will not believe that she stooped so low. She thought some man had more anointing than her. The truth is, it is IMPOSSIBLE for ANYONE to have more anointing than the wife of the Lamb!!! The wife of the lamb comes from within the Lamb. That is why Jesus says to wife, ONE DAY you will know who you are!!
One day, your identity crisis will be over. John 14:20
20 At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.
You see, you have ALWAYS been in Christ. The Bride cannot be defined by the house she lives in, the cars she drives, the money she has, her social status, NOTHING in this world can define the Bride. ONLY THE WORD!!!
Bride, you have been lied to for 2000 years. You have been abused for 2000 years. You have been made a mistress when you are the Queen. You have been scammed for 2000 years. But enough is enough. The midnight cry is now going forth.
The whole heaven is ready, the groom is ready, the tables have been set. White cloth linen, the guests, the food, the aroma, but the bride is nowhere to be seen. Where is she? The bride is busy screaming at another man who is not her husband..”Papa you are too much”, I cannot live without your covering”? The Bride does not even know she is bride. She is looking for Miracle money, when her husband has created the ENTIRE universe for her. She has let strange men define her identity. She has let Hollywood define her identity. She has allowed a strange American gospel of “motivantional humanism” to define her, now she has stooped so low, spraying all sorts of oils on herself, heaven is ready, but the bride is not!!
She does not even have her wedding gown on. If anyone told her that there is a wedding banquet waiting for her arrival, she would laugh and not believe.
Most people would have noticed that I have been quiet for a month or so. No sermons. Few posts. Well, at the very beginning of this campaign the Lord told me the campaign will move in Phases. Every Phase has its own unique logistics and instructions. So I spent a lot of my time with the Lord, and 100% of the time he kept on speaking to me about His Bride.
I thought the last day revival would be a revival to the nominal church. I could imagine stadiums filled with people..”going back to God”, but the Lord told me something very profound, the End Time revival that is coming, is not for the stadiums, its not for the masses, its for the Bride.
What the Holy Spirit is doing in the church right now is making a separation, calling the Bride out of "The Church Systems, denominationalist, cultism,".this will happen throughout the world, no man can stop this reformation. And yes towards the end of this Holy Spirit "reformation", there will be the revival that has been prophesied about. A mighty harvest of souls.
As the midnight cry goes forth, (Matthew 25:6) the Bride will get ready. Her amnesia will leave her. The Bride will remember who she is. Church-ism, denominationalism, titles, religious rituals, and everything else won’t matter to her. She will have only one thing in mind. The Groom!! Jesus Christ, Her true love.
Many will try to discourage her. Who do you think you are. You were born in this church. Who do you think you are? Don’t you see all the miracles happening in this church? You are nothing!!! You don’t qualify to be the Bride of the Lamb. But you know what, it will be too late. Let them speak, Let them curse you, let them pray “dangerous prayers” over you. Let them call you a witch. They can’t hold you back!!! You are the Bride!!! The whole ETERNITY has been waiting for you!!
So this campaign is about to intensify the heat. To reveal to the Bride who she is. to reveal to her, her true identity.
She will leave her many strange lovers, she will leave the rubbish dump that she is busy eating from. She will throw away all the “prophetic mantles”, because she has NOW has her eyes on Jesus. The only mantle she wants now is the WORD!!! For in the beginning was the WORD, not a bottle of oil.
Very soon, there will be a proclamation, Be Glad and rejoice, for the Marriage of the Lamb has come, and HIS WIFE has made herself ready!! Her identity crisis will be over!!!
