PAUL WAS AN INCLUSIONIST/UNIVERSALIST. PART 2.
So the mad accuser writes, [This is why Paul warned those who loved wickedness, that they would not be saved.
1st Corinthians 6 “2 Or do you not know that the Lord’s people will judge the world?…..9 Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the s*xually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have s*x with men 10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.”
Galatians 5 “19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: s*xual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, or**es, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.”
Peter warned people not to twist the words of Paul.
Paul clearly did not believe in universalism.
2nd Peter 3 “
8 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. 9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
14 So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him. 15 Bear in mind that our Lord’s patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him. 16 He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.”]

Let’s look at again the timeline.
Mathew Simon quotes from 1 Corinthians 6 which was a reference to believers bringing each other to court.
1 Corinthians 6:6-7
But instead, one brother takes another to court—and this in front of unbelievers!
The very fact that you have lawsuits among you means you have been completely defeated already. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be cheated?
So.
Who are these people taking about? It’s about the roman magistrates at that time.
So. Does it mean the Romans will be thrown into the lake of fire as he said?
Let’s look at Corinthians first.
I want to see the 1st letter of Corinthians is a continuous letter. Now look at chapter 7. It’s about marriage.
Now.
What has it got to do with law suits?
The answer is this.
This little phrase “the present crisis”.
1 Corinthians 7:26
Because of the present crisis, I think that it is good for a man to remain as he is.
Do you marry today? Do you bring lawsuits before unbelievers? Is your lawyer a Christian?
The question therefore we must ask is this, “what was ‘the present crisis’ at that time?”
Paul tells us here.
1 Corinthians 7:31
those who use the things of the world, as if not engrossed in them. For this world in its present form is passing away.
The world in that present form was passing away.
How?
Let me show you.
What then is the form of that world?
Galatians 4:3
so also we, when we were babes, under the elements of the world were in servitude,
What were the elements of the world at that time?
Notice Peter says the same thing.
2 Peter 3:8-10
But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare.
Now Paul tells us here.
Galatians 4:4-9
and when the fulness of time did come, God sent forth His Son, come of a woman, come under law, that those under law he may redeem, that the adoption of sons we may receive; and because ye are sons, God did send forth the spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying, `Abba, Father!' so that thou art no more a servant, but a son, and if a son, also an heir of God through Christ. But then, indeed, not having known God, ye were in servitude to those not by nature gods, and now, having known God--and rather being known by God--how turn ye again unto the weak and poor elements to which anew ye desire to be in servitude?
It was the Law. As such the old world or the old creation was the world of the Law, the old covenant.
Does this world exist today?
So, when Mathew Simon says, Paul speaks the same things to Peter, they were both speaking about a world is which no longer with us.
So what did Paul say regarding this world we live in?
Ephesians 1:21-23
far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, NOT ONLY in the PRESENT AGE but also in THE ONE TO COME. And God placed ALL THINGS under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the FULLNESS who fills EVERYTHING in EVERY WAY.
If that is not inclusion, what is?
Paul was a universalist and inclusionist.
He also said the letter kills, the Spirit gives life. Mathew is feeding you the letter. We are feeding you the Spirit.
