A very good morning to you all my friends. Hope all is well with you this chilly morning. It's a season for the cold🙂.
Friends, I have realized that most people are victims of painful experiences which led to low moral on every thing.My people ,there is a merciless monster called " The unforgiving spirit' This monster has sneaked itself into almost every person's mind and heart, millionaires and intellectuals and it is very destructive. Listen,it is not wrong to be angry, but anger must not swallow up your joy and humanity. See, Ephesians 4:26.
Just want to draw your attention to this subject for a moment.
In the book of Ephesians 4:32 it is written" Be kind and compassionate to one another, FORGIVING each other, JUST as in Christ God forgave you"
Look, the most devastating thing you can do to yourself is to resent others or someone. The longer you do not forgive the worse it becomes, leading to health problems and devastating consequences to your spiritual life as well.
Maybe you ask yourself this confusing question, WHAT IS FORGIVENESS?
Well, forgiveness is to give up the RESENTMENT against someone and the right to get even, no matter what they have done to you, see Ephesians 4:30-32.
You see, an unforgiving spirit is a DELIBERATE decision to REFUSE to give up this resentment and the right to get even. That is doing irreparable harm to yourself. That is self- centredness, selfishness and pride( well, it is common cause that only God is Righteous). We all are the results of the work of Calvary. Now you cannot be selfish and be happy at the same time. It's impossible and there is no "short cut"
God wants to fill you up with new benefitting things and renew your life. See Psalm 81:10.
