These are nonnegotiable tenets of faith that all Assemblies of God churches adhere to. This list is derived from the official Statement of Fundamental Truths. Click links below to see the complete original statement with scriptures. WE BELIEVE...T

he Scriptures are Inspired by God and declare His design and plan for mankind. WE BELIEVE...There is only One True God–revealed in three persons...Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (commonly known as the Trinity). WE BELIEVE...In the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. As God's son Jesus was both human and divine. WE BELIEVE...though originally good, Man Willingly Fell to Sin–ushering evil and death, both physical and spiritual, into the world. WE BELIEVE...Every Person Can Have Restored Fellowship with God Through 'Salvation' (trusting Christ, through faith and repentance, to be our personal Savior). [1 of 4 cardinal doctrines of the AG]

WE BELIEVE...and practice two ordinances—(1) Water Baptism by Immersion after repenting of one's sins and receiving Christ's gift of salvation, and (2) Holy Communion (the Lord's Supper) as a symbolic remembrance of Christ's suffering and death for our salvation. WE BELIEVE...the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a Special Experience Following Salvation that empowers believers for witnessing and effective service, just as it did in New Testament times. WE BELIEVE... The Initial Physical Evidence of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is ‘Speaking in Tongues,’ as experienced on the Day of Pentecost and referenced throughout Acts and the Epistles. WE BELIEVE...Sanctification Initially Occurs at Salvation and is not only a declaration that a believer is holy, but also a progressive lifelong process of separating from evil as believers continually draw closer to God and become more Christlike. WE BELIEVE...The Church has a Mission to seek and save all who are lost in sin. We believe 'the Church' is the Body of Christ and consists of the people who, throughout time, have accepted God's offer of redemption (regardless of religious denomination) through the sacrificial death of His son Jesus Christ. WE BELIEVE...A Divinely Called and Scripturally Ordained Leadership Ministry Serves the Church. The Bible teaches that each of us under leadership must commit ourselves to reach others for Christ, to worship Him with other believers, to build up or edify the body of believers–the Church and to Meet human need with ministries of love and compassion. WE BELIEVE...Divine Healing of the Sick is a Privilege for Christians Today and is provided for in Christ's atonement (His sacrificial death on the cross for our sins). WE BELIEVE...in The Blessed Hope—When Jesus Raptures His Church Prior to His Return to Earth (the second coming). At this future moment in time all believers who have died will rise from their graves and will meet the Lord in the air, and Christians who are alive will be caught up with them, to be with the Lord forever. [1 of 4 cardinal doctrines of the AG]

WE BELIEVE...in The Millennial Reign of Christ when Jesus returns with His saints at His second coming and begins His benevolent rule over earth for 1,000 years. This millennial reign will bring the salvation of national Israel and the establishment of universal peace. WE BELIEVE...A Final Judgment Will Take Place for those who have rejected Christ. They will be judged for their sin and consigned to eternal punishment in a punishing lake of fire. WE BELIEVE...and look forward to the perfect New Heavens and a New Earth that Christ is preparing for all people, of all time, who have accepted Him. We will live and dwell with Him there forever following His millennial reign on Earth. 'And so shall we forever be with the Lord!'

• Leviticus 6: 10. And the priest shall put on his linen garment, and his linen breeches shall he put upon his flesh, and take up the ashes which the fire hath consumed with the burnt offering on the altar, and he shall put them beside the altar.
• 11. And he shall put off his garments, and put on other garments, and carry forth the ashes without the camp unto a clean place.
• 12. And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay turnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the peace offerings.

Friday evening the 26th January 2018 the General Executive of the Assemblies of God Southern Africa made history by launching for the first time a local church giving it its own autonomy yet bound by the principles and constitution of Assemblies of God South Africa. Dr Peter Watt said if you don't want to embrace change , change might hit you flat down. This charismatic yet down to basic fundamental biblical principles was launched in the presence of delegations from the District Councils of three regions, other ministries in South Africa and neighbouring states. The likes of TEARSA represented by the stalwart of the gospel Ceaser Molebatse graced the occasion.

Loyiso Bala made a musical rendition. One touching moment was when the leadership of the Sandton AoG presented a Memorial Award to the widow of Pastor Nicholas Mosupi whom they recognised his role to the AoG and the Kingdom of God in General.

Bishop Kenneth Ulmer of USA presented a spiritual reviving sermon as he talked about the Eagle. Eagle does not flap nor glide but soars. Check Nocawe Gladly Makiwane status for details.

The AoG Southern Africa will be celebrating the sleeping of yet another giant of Faith in Njube Bulawayo Zimbabwe this coming weekend. Apostle, Pastor and Teacher Jeffrey Mkhwananzi. A man who yieldwd his life to God at young age. He planted a number of AoG churchrs in South Afruca until the South African Apartheid Government deported him to Bulawayo Zimbabwe only to find that God was deploying him to start and increase the work of God within AoG in Zimbabwe. He worked with thr likes of Bhengu, Bond, Msiza and many known and unknown soldiers of the Back to God Crusade and Assemblies of God in Soutjern Africa. The breaking down of the work in Zim to be ZAOGA ; AGGC and AOGA Back to God was a pattern of working he.never liked as he believed AoG work does not need to be seperated in accordance with the whims and interests of certain individuals and groupings of people. Apostle Jeff stood for what was true all the time.

One other thing that he stood out for was being a father that was peaceful even to those that did not share his views. He good speaker old and yet respectful even to those of our age. Hear Him saying Brother Nati instead of just Nati. Complemented by his wife that is so motherly whom we nearlt lost in the last few years but the grace of God stoid with Baba Jeff and heard our prayers and brought her back to life. We pray and ask yet mpre others to pray withis beautiful woman of God uMama kaNoliqwa.

This couple travelled the world West , East ; North and South. They crossed the big Oceans even the Pacific, Atlantic and Indian Oceans. Tjey crossed the big seas only for the Gospel of Christ.

May the Zimbabwe Assembly of God cleric take and cut a patttern from the life of this stallwart. NJUBE Assembly you have not lost alone but the whole Zimbabwe nation, Southern Africa, Africa and the whole World Assemblies of God Fellowship.

Wished to be there but conditions beyond my control wont allow my presence.
