Peter had seen Jesus do miracles. He knew what God could do. But when Jesus called him to walk on water, Peter started well. Then he looked at the waves and fear took over. He began to sink.

Jesus still reached out and saved him. But He also asked, “Why did you doubt? Why is your faith so small?”

That’s where many of us are. God has helped us before. We have seen Him carry us through hard things. But when new problems come, we look at them like they are bigger than God.

We forget. We panic. We let doubt win.

But even in our fear, He still saves. He still reaches out.

Imagine if we did not doubt. If we remembered what He has already done. If we stopped acting like this storm is stronger than the One who brought us through before.

Do not let the storm make you forget the miracles. Do not let the waves speak louder than His voice.

He is still the same God.
