Soup Kitchen
PART 2.
The opening of the Soup Kitchen at Eluxolweni Society marked by a timely message from Rev Gadinabokao, drawing from Exodus 16:4, where God promised bread from heaven to the Israelites and instructed them to gather only enough for the day. What a divine reminder in a generation that often worries about tomorrow before thanking God for today! Through this scripture, we were encouraged to trust God's daily provision, for as Rev Gadinabokao reminded us, "Onelani kukutya kwanamhlanje, kanti ngelinye ilanga uThixo uzoliveza icebo."

The message resonated deeply with the vision before us: ensuring that no one arrives in God's house with an empty stomach and departs the same way. If heaven once rained bread in the wilderness, surely a bowl of soup can become a testimony of God's continuing care among His people.

Adding further purpose to the gathering, Evangelist Mhloli shared the heart behind this ministry and announced that the Soup Kitchen will now be held every Thursday. What some may see as a simple meal, we recognize as a ministry of dignity, compassion, and practical faith proving once again that the Gospel is not only preached from the pulpit but can also be served in a bowl.

Before the pots were served, the voices were lifted.

"Amasi abekwe elangeni!!"🎶❤️

With joy and hearts ready to serve, prepared to welcome the community at Eluxolweni Society for the Soup Kitchen.

SOUP KITCHEN
Society

PART 1.

These moments capture what happens behind the scenes tables being arranged, ingredients being prepared, hands being occupied, and hearts being aligned for service. For some, soup simply appears as if by divine transportation; yet here we witness the holy labour that transforms compassion into action.
Every vegetable chopped, every utensil cleaned, and every task completed becomes part of a greater act of worship.

Today, we celebrate not only the meal that was to come, but also the preparation that made it possible. For before the soup reached the community, the spirit of service had already reached the kitchen.

Soup Kitchen, where ministry begins long before the pot starts boiling. 🍲❤️🙏

Women’s Manyano Team Building and Skill Development

PART 6.

Those who thought CCS is merely another position in the Women’s Manyano may have left with a different understanding. Through the insightful presentation by Mrs Kobese, women were reminded that CCS is not a seat to occupy but a vision to carry. The Women’s Manyano was challenged to see CCS leaders as dreamers of the annual theme, custodians of its message, and guides who help transform a theme from words on paper into a living ministry. The importance of walking hand in hand with those entrusted with this responsibility was strongly emphasized, for a vision can only flourish when the whole Women’s Manyano embraces it.

As if that was not enough, the day moved from inspiration to empowerment. Women gathered around specialists who generously shared practical skills, proving that development is not confined to the pulpit. From flower-making to beauty care, makeup application, and nail artistry, hands were trained while minds were enriched. The atmosphere quietly dismissed the notion that the Women’s Manyano only gathers to sit and listen. Instead, women were equipped, inspired, and reminded that ministry also involves nurturing talents, building confidence, and creating opportunities for growth.

The session stood as a beautiful testimony that the Women’s Manyano continues to be a place where vision meets action, where gifts are discovered, and where women are empowered to serve both the Church and society with excellence.
