*50 DAYS OF WORD FEST: IN THE PROMISED LAND*

*DAY 50: OVERCOME DOUBT*

*"But let him ask in faith, not doubting at all because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven by the wind and tossed to and fro."*
*James 1:6 AFV*

Oh hallelujah glory to Jesus Christ. What a beautiful journey that we have been in. A journey of eating and nourishing our inner man with the word of God. If you were following closely, you will never suffer from spiritual deficiency diseases like doubt, which we are going to deal with in this devotion. Be greeted my fellow Brethren in the Name of Jesus Christ amen and amen.

We as children of God must overcome doubt. Maybe the starting point is to know what we mean when talking about doubt, which our opening verse has warned us about. This is a state of uncertainty or lack of conviction regarding spiritual truths, God's promises or His character. It is often characterised by wavering faith and can manifest as skepticism or hesitation in belief and action. Doubt is often seen as the antithesis of faith. The bible says, *"Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses]."*
*Hebrews 11:1 AMP*. So here faith is defined as the assurance of what we hope for and certainty of what we don't see. Doubt then challenges this assurance and certainty. When it is like that it then means you cannot be able to enjoy some things in this journey because already doubt has stolen that privilege from you. Doubt does not mean you don't believe, you do believe that to some extent and given circumstances certain things are impossible.

Let us see some examples of people who doubted in the bible. We have Thomas who is mainly known about the doubting issue in the bible. In the book of John it says, *"Then He said to Thomas, “Reach here with your finger, and see My hands; and put out your hand and place it in My side. Do not be unbelieving, but [stop doubting and] believe.”*
*John 20:27 AMP*. This man was only convinced when he saw physically the wounds on Jesus. We also have Peter, the bible says, *"But when he saw [the effects of] the wind, he was frightened, and he began to sink, and he cried out, “Lord, save me!” Immediately Jesus extended His hand and caught him, saying to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?”*
*Matthew 14:30‭-‬31 AMP*. When Peter was told by Jesus to walk on water, it was so, however when he noticed the wind and waves, he became afraid and began to sink. Jesus immediately reached out to save him and addressed also his state of doubt. This incident illustrates how doubt can arise from focusing on circumstances rather than on Christ. This means child of God, do not entertain negativity, do not focus on battles and opposition. Do not build your consciousness around failures and misfortunes or any negative experience. When you begin to do that then you will be slowly getting into the path of doubt. You know God can do something and that all things are possible but there is that back of the mind that will be saying, "*-what if_*. Some of our conscience is even disturbed by some trainings, culture and different beliefs. Let me give you an example that I once experienced, when I was still in school I learnt about the evolution of men from apes. Now when l come to Genesis I hear the creation by God, so l had many questions. And so, these diverse forms of knowledge tend to militate against the word of God in people's hearts, creating doubts in their mind. We end up wavering in our faith. So we need to deal with this issue of doubt so we rise and enjoy all that God has for us.

The antidote for doubt in your heart is strong faith. When you find yourself staggering at God's word and struggling to believe it, being double minded and unstable, what you need to do is to strengthen your faith. And this happens when you put your faith to work. Exercise your faith, act on the word of God. For example the bible says, *"in every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus."*
*1 Thessalonians 5:18 AMP*. So what you must do is to start practicing the scripture by giving thanks to God. Let your life become an unending stream of praise and thanksgiving to God, irrespective of your situation or circumstances. That's acting on the word!!! Also remember the bible says, *"For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;"*
*2 Corinthians 10:3‭-‬5 KJV*. So how does this happen, this is the way: by our divine utterances, speaking in other tongues and our bold proclamation of the written word of God. By these you will pull down strongholds and cast down imaginations that arise from your mind. This is how we deal with doubt, because if not, the bible says, *"being a double-minded man, unstable and restless in all his ways [in everything he thinks, feels, or decides]."*
*James 1:8 AMP*, and if you are unstable you lose many things in your life. There will be confusion and disorder. Let us try our best to fight this spiritual deficiency disease called doubt. We are victorious, we are triumphant, we cannot settle for less, there is more for us in God. It is my prayer that you continue to labour and grow in the word. Begin to pray now.

*PRAYER*
Oh Father I thank you. I love you Lord. Thank you for loving me in this manner, pouring out your word into my spirit so that I may not lack anything in this life. I will not entertain doubt in my life, l will continue to act upon your word day and night. In the Name of Jesus Christ amen and amen.

*DAY 49: TYPES OF PRAYER: PRAYER OF DECLARATION AND DECREE*

*"(Exactly as it is written: “I have made you a father of many nations.”) before God in Whom he believed, Who gives life to the dead, and calls the things that are not as though they are;*
*Romans 4:17 AFV*

*"You will also decide and decree a thing, and it will be established for you; And the light [of God’s favor] will shine upon your ways."*
*Job 22:28 AMP*

Oh hallelujah glory to Jesus Christ, what a beautiful day that the Lord has made for us. For being allowed to see and experience it, that alone is grace. Just take a minute and give thanks to God. Be greeted in Jesus' Name amen and amen.

We are going to talk about another powerful kind of prayer, the prayer of declaration. This one involves making a request to God and speaking to circumstances in order to make them conform to your desires. Let me show you how other people did it in the bible, starting with Joshua. The bible says, *"Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; And thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon. And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, Until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day."*
*Joshua 10:12‭-‬13 KJV*. This is it, Joshua spoke to God and then spoke to the circumstance. That is how it is done. Let us come to the New Testament, the bible says, *"Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me. And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth."*
*John 11:41‭-‬43 KJV*. This was Jesus at the grave of Lazarus, He talked to God and after that He spoke to the situation. We have also been given this opportunity as believers that we speak to circumstances and they turn in our favour. Our opening scripture says it all, you shall decree a thing and it shall be established.

It takes great faith to do this kind of prayer. You cannot just declare and decree without seeing the unseen. And it is only faith that can do that. Remember in defining it the bible says, *"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the conviction of things not seen."*
*Hebrews 11:1 AFV*. So in declaration you must first see before you speak. Understand this, to see the unseen is not the same as being optimistic. It actually means to see the way God sees, and speak of the physically non-existent as though they already existed. The word says, *"(Exactly as it is written: “I have made you a father of many nations.”) before God in Whom he believed, Who gives life to the dead, and calls the things that are not as though they are;"*
*Romans 4:17 AFV*. Oh yes calling things that are not as though they are. Declaration takes faith and the faith of God. The word says, *"For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.*
*Mark 11:23 KJV*. Oh yes it is very clear here, whoever shall say to this mountain be removed, it shows you are speaking to the mountain, you are not speaking about the mountain. That is what we have to do, we must not speak about circumstances we must speak to them, we must declare, we must decree, we have been given that power. In this kind of prayer you must be very specific. What you need at that time is what you speak. And you must know again that we don't just declare, we always do it according to the will of God. Everything that is about prayer cannot be separated from the will of God otherwise you may not get the desired outcome.

With God all things are possible. Never doubt after you have done this prayer. Anything can be turned around just to create what you have declared. Is it healing that you are believing God for, declare it in the Name of Jesus Christ. The bible says, *"Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit."*
*James 5:17‭-‬18 KJV*. Firstly the writer is giving us confidence, that Elijah was just a man like us, he prayed for it not to rain and yes the rain stopped for three and half years. This means we can also do that. When l looked back in the Old Testament to check how Elijah prayed, because l wanted to copy this kind of powerful prayer this is what I saw, *"And Elijah the Tishbite, of the sojourners of Gilead, said to Ahab, “As the Lord God of Israel lives, before Whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, except according to my word.”*
*I Kings 17:1 AFV*. This is where we find the story, it was just a declaration of what he wanted to happen! However before talking about the stopping of the rain or declaring the word he said, *........ “As the Lord God of Israel lives, before Whom I stand,........*, this statement carries a lot of power and the real secret, translated for the Hebrew bible this statement means, *"the Lord in whom l abide*, this means this man was not just talking, he was having a relationship with God, he was connected to Him, he was talking to Him. That is the secret, talk to God before you talk to men. Talk to God before you talk to circumstances. Giving decrees and declarations is not just an action, it takes authority, it takes power to do it. It is not every territory that you will command unless you reach the position and ranking to do so. There are things you will never allow or disallow until you sit on a certain level in spirit. Otherwise do not ever try to go and speak to a lion when you are just a weakling. Lions cannot typically kill healthy adult elephants, rhinos, hippos due to their immense size, strength and formidable defenses, though they may prey on the young or the weak. So you must grow in the spirit and become a commander who will deal with big matters. Strive to grow spiritually, pray without ceasing and eat the word. You are unstoppable. That is who you are, I tell you the kingdom of darkness is so afraid of you. Be confident, rise and occupy your position. Begin to pray.

*PRAYER*
Father l thank you for giving me power. Thank you for dressing me up with authority and giving me the ability to speak things into existence. I will forever be grateful for your love for me, you have chosen me to be like you among all your creatures. I will not misuse what you have given me, neither will I abuse it, but l will do everything for your glory. In the Name of Jesus Christ amen and amen. (I want you to take time and declare what you want to see in your life, family and world around you.)

*DAY 48: THE LIFE OF AN INTERCESSOR*

*Therefore, confess your sins to one another [your false steps, your offenses], and pray for one another, that you may be healed and restored. The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) is able to accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power].*
*James 5:16 AMP*

It is a blessed day to you my fellow Brethren in the Name of Jesus Christ amen. We thank God always, we give honor, praise and all the glory for it belongs to Him. We are who we are today because of His love and faithfulness. Be grateful always in any circumstance you find yourself in.

I want us to talk about the life of an Intercessor. Remember you are going to plead for other people before the Father, so there is a certain life that you must live. There is something I realised in this life whenever you want to plead on behalf of someone to someone there must be a relationship with that person you are pleading to. Even in courts, it is not everyone who goes to speak on your behalf except someone who has a relationship with the judge and that is a lawyer or the prosecution. It is like that because their relationship is in law, they have same grounds. Same applies to intercession, you cannot talk to God whom you do not have a relationship with. The opening verse is saying, the prayer of a righteous man, that means our relating ground with God is righteousness. He has given us as gift and our responsibility is to walk in it. Intercession is not just telling things to God, it is about your relationship with Him. Remember how the sons of Sceva in the book of Acts failed. The bible says, *"Now, there were seven itinerant Jewish exorcists, sons of Sceva the high priest, who took it upon themselves to use the name and authority of Jesus over those who were demonized. They would say, “We cast you out in the name of the Jesus that Paul preaches!” One day, when they said those words, the demon in the man replied, “I know about Jesus, and I recognize Paul, but who do you think you are?”*
*Acts 19:13‭-‬15 TPT*. They thought they can just use the Name of Jesus and cast out demons, they did not know that there must be a relationship with the Man of the Name. Build up your relationship with God, intercessors must walk with God habitually. Intercessors do not mix things, they maintain the path of holiness.

An intercessor must also remain connected to God. We do not do lights on lights off. We must always be on. The word says, *"So you must remain in life-union with me, for I remain in life-union with you. For as a branch severed from the vine will not bear fruit, so your life will be fruitless unless you live your life intimately joined to mine. “I am the sprouting vine and you’re my branches. As you live in union with me as your source, fruitfulness will stream from within you—but when you live separated from me you are powerless.*
*John 15:4‭-‬5 TPT*. I love this version, it says remain in life union with Christ, not seasonal or optional, this is a must and it has to be forever. That is your life as an intercessor, do not disconnect yourself from Him, it makes your prayer life to be effective, whatever you ask will be rewarded, because you are in connection. Do that by staying in prayer always, fellowshiping with the Father. An intercessor does not jump into prayer when now there is a need, s/he lives a life of prayer. Let me give you a practical example, if there is someone who always call or look for you when they are in trouble, you may assist them first and second time, but third time you will be tired. It means that to them you are of no use, you are only remembered when there is a problem to be solved. That is how some people use prayer, it is like an emergency remedy or a spare wheel. An intercessor does not live such a life, your life must be prayer. The bible says, *"Make your life a prayer.*"
*1 Thessalonians 5:17 TPT*. It must be your system, your way of life, your pattern, your design. Jesus became our model when it comes to prayer. The bible says, *"Jesus left the upper room with his disciples and, as was his habit, went to the Mount of Olives, his place of secret prayer."*
*Luke 22:39 TPT*. That is the life of an intercessor. Look at granny Anna, the bible says, *"A prophetess named Anna was also in the temple court that day. She was from the tribe of Asher and the daughter of Phanuel. Anna was an aged widow who had been married only seven years before her husband passed away. After he died she chose to worship God in the temple continually. For the past eighty-four years she had been serving God with night-and-day prayer and fasting."*
*Luke 2:36‭-‬37 TPT*. Oh yes, Intercessors remain connected in prayer not because there is a need but to keep the fire ablaze.

Intercessors must be filled with the word of God. You cannot be able to plead for someone if you do not have faith. And the bible says, *"Faith, then, is birthed in a heart that responds to God’s anointed utterance of the Anointed One."*
*Romans 10:17 TPT*. The utterance of the Anointed One refers to the word of God. This simply means faith comes by the word of God. So as an Intercessor you must not be empty. How will you pray right without the word of God. How will you be in the right direction without the word. Long for it. Meditate day and night, pray from a position of revelation. Pray from a position of knowledge not ignorance. Empty vessels make a lot of noise. Be filled with the word of God. A person without the word cannot be able to stand storms, and if you are an intercessor storms come, which you need to conquer and continue with the journey. Pursue knowledge, follow after the word. Dress yourself up every morning with the word of God, meditate throughout the day, be a doer of the word, be a practitioner of the word. An intercessor must fully exhibit the life of Jesus to the world, he must not be contaminated or corrupted. He must stay on position and alert always.

Remember every Spirit filled believer must be an intercessor. A lot of us we are running away from it because we think there is a certain special group in church called for that. Prayer is a call for everyone and we must do it, it maybe on different levels but do it anyway. An intercessor must not be too talkative, you must be able to keep secrets, keep your mouth shut, have wisdom. An intercessor does not eat too much and everywhere. There are some places designed to quench the fire in you. Intercessors do not sleep too much, more time must be invested in prayer. Grow in this area as a believer. Begin to pray.

*PRAYER*
Thank you Father for reviving the fire of intercession in me. I pray that from now going forward, I will mann the gates of my city. I vow to live a life that is worth the calling. I will not disconnect and I will maintain my discipline, in the Name of Jesus Christ amen and amen.

*DAY 47: TYPES OF PRAYER : THE PRAYER OF INTERCESSION*

*"The Lord will not abandon His people for His great name’s sake, because the Lord has been pleased to make3 you a people for Himself. Moreover, as for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the Lord by ceasing to pray for you; but I will instruct you in the good and right way."*
*1 Samuel 12:22‭-‬23 AMP*

Greetings to you my fellow brothers and sisters in the Name of Jesus Christ amen. What a blessing it is to receive the mind of God in such a beautiful day. The Spirit lifts the standard against the enemy through prayer, and this is what we are learning about. As we continue to labour in the word, we are going to be made complete with nothing short, nothing lacking and nothing missing. So let us not ignore the word.

In this insight we are looking at another type of prayer that I love so much, which is prayer of intercession. This is also another ministry of the Holy Spirit and He carries it out through believers. Every Spirit filled child of God must be an Intercessor. When we are talking about intercession, we are talking about prayer that is made on behalf of other people. You do not intercede for yourself, it is about others. Our opening scripture is about Samuel who was interceding for Israel, remember Israel was a symbol of the church today. Which means we make intercession for other believers. Apostle Paul writing to the Ephesians said, *"I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers; [I always pray] that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may grant you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation [that gives you a deep and personal and intimate insight] into the true knowledge of Him [for we know the Father through the Son]."*
*Ephesians 1:16‭-‬17 AMP*. We must pray for one another as believers, these days the enemy has placed us on judging chairs, instead of praying we talk about each other, judge and disqualify. When you have seen something that is not right with your fellow brethren, take it to God in prayer. In prayer of intercession, your objective is to prevail on someone else to align with God's will.

Sometimes you may just be praying for your personal issues and the Holy Spirit suddenly prompts you to pray for certain individuals you never planned for. Be obedient and do that. Always remembering in doing that, the Spirit of the Lord is lifting a standard. Usually that happens with me, a name is just dropped in my spirit and l begin to pray, most of the time as I communicate with the person I only find out s/he was in a battle. Prayer of intercession requires us to be so vigilant and awake in spirit. We are also to intercede for our Pastors or spiritual leaders. The bible says, *"And pray for me, that words may be given to me when I open my mouth, to proclaim boldly the mystery of the good news [of salvation], for which I am an ambassador in chains. And pray that in proclaiming it I may speak boldly and courageously, as I should."*
*Ephesians 6:19‭-‬20 AMP*. This is Apostle Paul talking to the church at Ephesus that they need to pray for him. Spiritual leaders need our prayers, everyday do not forget your pastors in prayer. We are gradually losing it because we always take pastors as doctors, they must just help you, teach you, pray for you and you do nothing. Ladies and gentlemen we are coworkers in the Kingdom, the Pastor needs you and you also need the Pastor. Therefore let that be your assignment to pray. In the book of Acts the word says, *"So Peter was kept in prison, but fervent and persistent prayer for him was being made to God by the church.*
*Acts 12:5 AMP*. The church continued in prayer for Peter. Where is the church to pray for Pastors. In our generation there is an increasing rate of pastors who are in depression, who are committing su***de, who are backsliding, why because the church is becoming a burden instead of being a blessing. We find it easy to gossip about our leaders but difficult to pray for them, that must come to an end. We need believers that persist in prayer for their Pastors. The bible says, *"Now when Moses held up his hand, Israel prevailed, and when he lowered his hand [due to fatigue], Amalek prevailed. But Moses’ hands were heavy and he grew tired. So they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it. Then Aaron and Hur held up his hands, one on one side and one on the other side; so it was that his hands were steady until the sun set. So Joshua overwhelmed and defeated Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.*
*Exodus 17:11‭-‬13 AMP*. Look at the work of Aaron and Hur, this kind is needed in the church. Be a blessing to your Pastor today. When you pray for your pastor God will even begin to show you areas you must touch and help him. Be an Intercessor.

We must also pray for our governments. The bible says, *"First of all, then, I urge that petitions (specific requests), prayers, intercessions (prayers for others) and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all people, for kings and all who are in [positions of] high authority, so that we may live a peaceful and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. This [kind of praying] is good and acceptable and pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge and recognition of the [divine] truth."*
*1 Timothy 2:1‭-‬4 AMP*. Sometimes I am just tempted to quote more verses because of the power in them. Make intercession for all people, leaders of nations, let us not focus on condemning them, let us focus on praying for them. Nomatter how wicked a person maybe, God allowed him or her for a purpose and as a church our duty is to pray. It is our duty to speak words of fruitfulness upon them. The bible is saying God wants everyone to be saved. Let us do our duty diligently. Even as we pray for lost souls and the entire kingdom of God. We pray for revival in the church, because a sleeping church cannot win over a busy world. There are so many things that are now being introduced into the church from the world. Instead of having Holy Spirit inspired songs we go and twist songs of the world and bring them to church. Our dress code is now being inspired by world fashion, all those things happens because watchmen are not occupying their posts, some are sleeping on duty. Let us rise in intercession. Our communities and nations are being invaded, where are the Intercessors. Through the prayer of intercession, God bestows on us opportunity, ability and inspiration to make great impacts in our world. He has set us on earth in these extraordinary times for the purpose of changing lives. Lives are touched in prayer first. That is where everything happens. Begin to pray for yourself that you may rise and occupy your duty post.

*PRAYER*
Father in the Name of Jesus Christ, I thank you for the opportunity that you have given me to touch lives in prayer. I pray that in this season l may rise and occupy my duty post as an Intercessor. I refuse to sleep on duty. I refuse to be ignorant. I pray for a spirit that is so attentive and ready to receive signals from the Spirit, in the Name of Jesus Christ amen and amen.

*INSIGHT INTO THE SPIRITUAL WORLD*

*DAILY DEVOTION BY PASTOR FAITH*

*50 DAYS OF WORD FEST: IN THE PROMISED LAND*

*DAY 46 : PRAYER WAS DESIGNED TO BE ANSWERED*

*‘Call to Me and I will answer you, and tell you [and even show you] great and mighty things, [things which have been confined and hidden], which you do not know and understand and cannot distinguish.’*
*Jeremiah 33:3 AMP*

Congratulations my fellow brothers and sisters for the grace you have been given by God to see another day. The contract is continuing, everyday it is renewed. We are not here forever, so every opportunity given must be utilised wisely. I salute you in Jesus Name amen and amen.

As we continue to talk about prayer just know this truth, God has designed prayer to be answered. In my teenage years before phones where all over streets, we used to write and post letters. When the letter is gone you would wait for a week or two expecting to receive a reply if need be. When that does not happen you will have stress because something was not done. That same applies to prayer, that is a platform God has given us to communicate with Him, and He answers. He said in the opening scripture, "call unto me and I will answer.". Where there is a man to pray there is a God to answer. God answers the man. God speaks. As l said before that sometimes it may seem as if He is silent, but in that silent season, He is still saying something. The bible says, *"For this reason I am telling you, whatever things you ask for in prayer [in accordance with God’s will], believe [with confident trust] that you have received them, and they will be given to you. Whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him [drop the issue, let it go], so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your transgressions and wrongdoings [against Him and others].*"
*Mark 11:24‭-‬25 AMP*. So there are few things pointed in the verse l have quoted, whatever you desire, if you ask....... . There are some people who desire but do not ask. This is an opportunity that God has given you. In this life you must not just stay in worries and anxiety, you must cast your burdens unto God, you must ask in prayer. The bible says, *"Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God."*
*Philippians 4:6 AMP*. Continue to make your special requests known unto God. He hears and He answers. As long as your requests are for His glory, they are in line with His will. Selfishness is a deal breaker when it comes to prayer.

I have discovered that God answers prayer, but the biggest part is on man. The manifestation of that answer depends on you. The bible is saying, if you believe, you will receive it. Believing and faith are two words that seem like having the same meaning, yes for preliminary teachings but as you grow in Christ you will discover that they have different meanings. Believing is trusting, having confidence that whatever the word has said, whether written or spoken, is true. You receive the word and you understand then you say yes, this is true. Whereas faith is the reality of things you hope for, is a reality of things you believe in. There is a time of trusting that God is with us, and there is a time of walking in that reality. Most believers are still in believing and not yet in faith. The bible says, *"Now faith brings our hopes into reality and becomes the foundation needed to acquire the things we long for. It is all the evidence required to prove what is still unseen."*
*Hebrews 11:1 TPT*. Let me give you an example, someone will ask you a question, "do you believe in God?", the you say, "yes". The next thing let's say you are sick in your body he says, "receive your healing", then you receive it, there maybe symptoms being seen but you go back knowing that you are healed, you have the reality of the unseen in you. You have faith, it does not wait for physical manifestation. Faith sees before physical eyes see. So when you walk in faith you do not speak negative, you do not complain, you do not give up, you know nomatter how late it may seem in the physical but my Father will show up right on time. Jesus waited for Lazarus to be put in grave and for people to seal and say, it is over, that is when He showed up and a miracle happened! God answers prayer.

Also the verse in Mark 11 talks of forgiveness, that when you stand up praying, you must forgive others. That is positioning. Be well positioned if you want to experience answers. In this equation you are the major factor for things to happen. Let your heart be set to receive. Every person who prays from unforgivenness uses emotions and feelings. Prayer must be led by the Spirit not emotions. Work on yourself, there are places to be emotional not in prayer. Usually emotional prayers lead you to ask things with wrong motives and the bible says, *"And if you ask, you won’t receive it for you’re asking with corrupt motives, seeking only to fulfill your own selfish desires. You have become spiritual adulterers who are having an affair, an unholy relationship with the world. Don’t you know that flirting with the world’s values places you at odds with God? Whoever chooses to be the world’s friend makes himself God’s enemy!"*
*James (Jacob) 4:3‭-‬4 TPT*. The verse has said it so well, let your motives be right. Have you forgiven someone, are you now greeting them, are you now liking and commenting their post on social media. A clean heart will help you a lot when it comes to prayer. Let us not fight our prayer life and begin to blame it on the devil. The spirit of delay you have been casting out is actually you, work on yourself, be well positioned in order to receive and experience answers. You are destined to have whatever you ask from God. Forgive, speak the language of God. Not that after you have finished to pray for marriage then you begin to say men are scarce, already you are fighting the answer. After prayer begin to thank God that it is done, even when statistics say they are scarce, you declare that in that scarcity, the borne of your borne is there. Speak positive. Do not be yoked with the kingdom of darkness, be totally divorced from the ways of the world. The verse I quoted in James says do not be spiritual adulterers, one leg in and one leg out. It does not work. Do not be a double minded person, it cuts the flow. God answers prayers but you are the main factor for the whole equation to be well completed. Begin to pray.

*PRAYER*
Thank you Father for opening my eyes and see the truths of the Kingdom. Thank you for teaching me these dynamics of prayer. From today I will position myself well and be ready to experience every answered prayer. Your part never fails, and l pray that l may not fail in my part. In the Name of Jesus Christ amen and amen.
