Iris Revival Church, based in Nelspruit (South Africa) is affiliated to Iris Ministries Global, which was founded by Rolland and Heidi Baker in 1980. Iris is an international missions organisation that works tirelessly to bring the Kingdom of God to earth in all its fullness , but especially through their particular calling: to serve the very poor… the destitute, the lost, the broken and the forg

otten. Iris Revival Church was birthed prophetically through a series of visions. In 2010 Pastor Surprise had a vision in which he was holding many reins attached to three horses. In the vision the horses were being held back (not yet released) . In the second vision the horses were running free with fire in their mouths. The last occurrence which released the vision was a comment Pastor Surprise’s wife, Tryphina made to him. She mentioned that she’d never walked down a red carpet before . Without much thought he immediately responded “You will walk down a carpet before nine days have passed”. To be sure, within nine days of speaking these words, local developers Jantie and Karen van Zyl offered Pastor Surprise and Tryphina the use of a small chapel on their property....and running down the centre of the chapel was a beautiful red carpet. The first service in the chapel was held on the 16 January 2011. During a chapel service in March 2012 Pastor Surprise had another vision. He felt he was being constrained in one of the pews but upon opening his eyes there was nothing inhibiting him, however he at once realised the Lord was telling him the chapel was soon going to be too small to host the people and it was time to start praying for a larger premises. Within the same month Pastor Surprise felt the Lord put the question to him...” Are you ready to host the revival....by next year this time you will have experienced a major Visitation”

13 October 2025. The last day of the feast of Tabernacles, and the day the 20 living hostages are released back to their families, their homes, their land, Israel. Lord, as Your people celebrate You, how You saved them from Egypt thousands of years ago, You did it again. We praise Your holy name! May every person on this planet be released from spiritual prisons today. May every spiritual hostage be released into the freedom of the Son, the Lamb – our faithful Shepherd, Jesus Christ of Nazareth. May the atmosphere be charged with angelic activity, and may every tongue involuntarily proclaim that You are King. May every ear hear and heed the roar of the Lion of the tribe of Judah, demanding: LET MY PEOPLE GO!

“Awaken, My bride! Wake up to the reality of a new dawn! Wake up to knowing that I am next to you. Wake up to resting.
What does that mean, you ask? Oh, my children, if only you would understand the richness of My rest. Not a sitting around and doing nothing, but a sitting at My feet, listening. There is a huge difference between the two. How my people struggle to sit and listen. I invite you at each new dawn to come close and listen, to come close and receive My words of love. I invite you now – come! Wake up to My voice in the wind, My voice in the first rays of sunshine, My voice in the song of birds, My voice in the sound of the kettle boiling, the sound of cups and teaspoons. Wake up to My voice in the sound of the water you splash over your face. Wake up to My words in your Bible. Wake up to My voice of silence. To Me belongs the silence, and I want to gift you with it. So today, dear ones – awaken, and receive. In this place, you will taste, and see that I am good. In this place you will know that all is well. Everything is provided for, everything is taken care of. You are safe.
