AWF OUTREACH | 22 AUGUST 2026

Our Anglican Women’s Fellowship (AWF) had a meaningful outreach at Hammansburg, Nelspruit, where we were blessed with the opportunity to support families in need.

🥫 15 families received food parcels
👕 Clothing was donated for everyone from newborns to adults.

We are incredibly grateful to Ackermans and our generous parishioners for their donations and support, helping us share practical care and kindness with our community.

“Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” – Matthew 25:40 ✝️

Thank you to everyone who made this outreach possible.

LITTLE HEROES. BIG FAITH. 🌳🕷️

On Friday, 14 August, our Children’s Church enjoyed a fun-filled Treehouse Adventure with a superhero twist! 🎉🕸️

Through games, laughter and activities, our little ones had a wonderful time growing in faith, building friendships and learning about God’s love. ❤️✝️

We rejoice to share that our Rector, Revd Wayne, will be Consecrated by the Archbishop as the 3rd Bishop of Mpumalanga on Sunday 13 September 2026 at 12h00 at Uplands Prep, White River.

Please note: There will be one service only at St Michael’s that day at 8:00am.

Let us hold Wayne, Colette and their family in prayer, and pray for our parish as we begin the search for a new Rector.

Celebrating Women in the Church

This Women’s Day, we celebrate the remarkable women who bring faith, compassion, strength and love into the life of our church. From leading and serving to nurturing families, supporting those in need and building our community, women play a vital role in the growth and ministry of the Church.

We give thanks for every woman who serves with a willing heart, often quietly and without recognition. May God continue to strengthen, guide and bless the women of our parish as they serve, lead and shine His light in the world.

Paint & Praise – Bloom Anyway

On Saturday, 8 August 2026, St Michael’s hosted a beautiful Paint & Praise morning for women — a special time of fellowship, reflection, creativity and connection. 🌸🎨

We were blessed to have Revd Roxanne Steyn from the Methodist Church in White River share a heartfelt message on Purpose, God’s Grace and God’s Light, reminding us that each of us is planted by God for a reason. Through every season, He nurtures us, strengthens us, and calls us to grow where He has placed us.

As the women painted, it was wonderful to see how each canvas became a unique reflection of what had touched their hearts — a beautiful reminder that, just as every painting is different, God’s purpose for each woman is uniquely her own.

We thank everyone who contributed their time, talents and love to make this a meaningful and memorable morning.

May we continue to grow through His Grace, shine in His Light and Bloom Anyway.
