TO GOD BE THE GLORY

As a church family we want to appreciate God for the life and leadership of the Head of the MCSA, Ngwekazi, Mphephethwa, MaNzie, Rev Pumla Nzimande.

At the 15th World Assembly of the World Federation of Methodist and Uniting Church Women held at the Due Drop Events Centre, our Presiding Bishop raised the banner of the Methodist Church of Southern Africa very high on the world platform.

Hee maan, uThixo ufihle izinto ezinkulu kuye.

She is a scholar, a theologian, a preacher and a teacher. Soft-spoken and cool, yet a razor when exegeting the Word. One always learns something new when she preaches.

We thank God for her exemplary leadership in Auckland. She did not only show up for her part. She attended sessions and devotions, and was fully part of the Federation until the end, a lesson that did not go unnoticed. Though exhausted, she offered a piece of herself to all. She treated everyone with equal respect and dignity, different languages and cultures, but one faith. All areas claimed her.

If you were in Auckland, you would have been proud to be led by this woman of God. What God has placed upon her inspired many women at the Assembly.

The Assembly was sealed with a powerful Holy Communion and Installation Service on Saturday 29 August.

We thank God for our PB, steadfast in her 'Yes' to the call, always representing the MCSA well. May the God who called her continue to revive the anointing upon her.

Did you know that The Methodist Church of Southern Africa (MCSA) is represented in the World Federation of Methodist and Uniting Church Women (WFMUCW)initially through three affiliated units – the Women's Manyano, the Women's Auxiliary and the Women's Association. Pictured here are two of our affiliated units: the Women's Association and the Women's Manyano, both proudly carrying the MCSA witness to the world as part of the Southern & East Africa Area.

TO GOD BE THE GLORY

We celebrate our own mama Vuyokazi Mdingi (Vuyoyo), who was given a humbling opportunity to serve at the 15th World Assembly in Auckland, New Zealand.

She represented the MCSA Women's Manyano and the Southern & East Africa Area with excellence, serving by leading the Technical Desk of the World Assembly.

Her service reminds us that every gift, no matter how small, can be used to glorify God when it is surrendered to Him. We thank God for her life and for raising one of our own to serve His church on the world stage.
