I have loved you with a everlasting love; therefore i have continued my faithfulness to you.

But we ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers beloved by the Lord, because God chose you as the first fruits to be saved, through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth.

To this he called you through our gospel, so that you may obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. God saved us all called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which ge gave us in Christ Jesus before the age began.
Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, everyone of them, the days that were formed formed for me, when as yet there were none of them.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but gave eternal life.
In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Today's topic: The presence of the Holy Spirit in the Church
Intro: We cannot speak about the presence of the Holy Spirit in church without speaking about preparing a room for Him

How do we prepare a room for the Holy Spirit in the Church?
Matt.5:8 "Blessed are the pure in heart for they will see God".

The Greek word for "Pure" in Matt.5:8 is Katharos meaning to be clean, blamless, Unstained from guilt.

The Greek word for "Heart" in Matt.5:8 is Kardeeah this can be applied to the physical Heart. But it also refers to the Spiritual center of life. It is were thoughts, desires, sense of purpose, will, understanding and character reside.

For the church to experience the presence of the Holy Spirit, we must be pure in heart, then we will be able to witness the manifestations of the Holy Spirit.
He will not come as visitor or a guest but as an inhabiter or resident

The seven things the Holy Spirit hate
Prov. 6:16-19
1. A proud look
2. A lying tongue
3. Hands that shed innocent blood
4. A heart that devises wicked plans
5. Feet that are swift in running to evil
6. A false witness who speaks lies
7. One who sows discord among brethren.
