John 20:1-10
[1] Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the entrance.
[2] So she came running to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one Jesus loved, and said, “They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we don’t know where they have put him!”
[3] So Peter and the other disciple started for the tomb.
[4] Both were running, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first.
[5] He bent over and looked in at the strips of linen lying there but did not go in.
[6] Then Simon Peter came along behind him and went straight into the tomb. He saw the strips of linen lying there,
[7] as well as the cloth that had been wrapped around Jesus’ head. The cloth was still lying in its place, separate from the linen.
[8] Finally the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went inside. He saw and believed.
[9] (They still did not understand from Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead.)
[10] Then the disciples went back to where they were staying.🙏🙏🙏

Genesis 32:22-32

[22] That night Jacob got up and took his two wives, his two female servants and his eleven sons and crossed the ford of the Jabbok.
[23] After he had sent them across the stream, he sent over all his possessions. [24] So Jacob was left alone, and a man wrestled with him till daybreak.
[25] When the man saw that he could not overpower him, he touched the socket of Jacob’s hip so that his hip was wrenched as he wrestled with the man. [26] Then the man said, “Let me go, for it is daybreak.” But Jacob replied, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.”
[27] The man asked him, “What is your name?” “Jacob,” he answered.
[28] Then the man said, “Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel, because you have struggled with God and with humans and have overcome.”
[29] Jacob said, “Please tell me your name.” But he replied, “Why do you ask my name?” Then he blessed him there.
[30] So Jacob called the place Peniel, saying, “It is because I saw God face to face, and yet my life was spared.”
[31] The sun rose above him as he passed Peniel, and he was limping because of his hip.
[32] Therefore to this day the Israelites do not eat the tendon attached to the socket of the hip, because the socket of Jacob’s hip was touched near the tendon.🙌🙌

[2] Very early on the first day of the week, just after sunrise, they were on their way to the tomb
[3] and they asked each other, “Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb?”
[4]But when they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled away.
[5] As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed.🙌🙌🙌🙌
