On Sunday, 16 August 2026, our service was conducted by our Rector G.Halls, and Priest Duikers was called to serve alongside.

𝐁𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐭:
John 17:20–21 (excerpt) (NKJV):
"I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one."

𝐌𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞:
God grants us oneness,
and we do everything in our
power to preserve it.

𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲:
■ Jesus not only prays to the Father for the disciples of that time, but also for all those who will come to believe through their word.
■ The objective of Jesus' prayer is the unity of all believers. This unity is founded upon Him and is meant to be an identifying feature of the one church of Christ.
■ Oneness is a gift of God and a mission for humankind.

Before the celebration of Holy Communion, our Rector administered the sacrament of Holy Baptism. Five souls were baptized. The congregation extends it's best wishes to them.

Our midweek divine service was conducted by our District Rector, Shepherd Theo Jansen.

𝐁𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐭: Ephesians 5:20.
"[Give] thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ."

𝐌𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞:
Gratitude is a Christian way of life.

𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲:
■ Giving thanks requires us to look back on what the Lord has already done.
■ The source of our gratitude is the Holy Spirit.
■ Gratitude can be seen as a fundamental attitude that defines our Christian life.

Sunday morning’s Divine Service was conducted by Evangelist Vollenhoven, and Priest Manuel was called to serve alongside.

𝐁𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐭: 2 Corinthians 5:20:
"Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God."

𝐌𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞:
Apostolicity is an identifying characteristic of the church of Christ.

𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲:
■ Jesus Christ sent out Apostles in order to authentically proclaim salvation in Jesus Christ.
■ The church retained it's apostolicity even after the death of the early Apostles because the apostolic doctrine continued to be preached.
■ Apostolicity was fully restored with the renewed personal occupation of the Apostle ministry.

On Sunday, 12 July 2026, our District Rector Theo Jansen conducted the Sunday divine service.

𝐁𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐱𝐭: Matthew 6:10(NKJV)
“Your kingdom come.”

𝐌𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞: We are witnesses to both the present and the coming kingdom of God.

The congregation witnessed the reinstatement of Priest Steven Fortuin.

𝙈𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙖𝙜𝙚:
After His crucifixion, Jesus brought salvation to the realm of the dead.

𝙎𝙪𝙢𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙮 :
■ After His death on the cross, Jesus descended into the realm of the dead and preached to those in need of help.
■ As affirmed in the New Testament, both God’s word and the sacraments are now accessible to the dead.

The young people sang with joyful hearts for the sick, pouring their hearts into every note.

On the 28 June 2026, our service was conducted by visiting Rector.R Jansen, and Priest Bailey was called to serve alongside.

𝐁𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞: Jeremiah 29:11 (NKJV)
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

𝐌𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞:
God gives us peace, hope, and a future.

𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲:
■ God promises peace in the face of injustice, sin, and suffering.
■ The incarnation of God in Jesus Christ originates in the idea of peace.
■ The return of Christ, eternal fellowship with God, and the new creation are promises that give hope and a future to both the living and the dead.

𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲.

On Sunday, 21 June 2026, our divine service was conducted by our Rector G.Halls.

The Bible text was taken out of Hebrews 10:23, and it reads: "Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful."

The message for this divine service was: Hope in God allows us to look to the future with peace in our hearts.

After the service, we held our annual evacuation drill to ensure we care well for one another in every situation.

Our young people wholeheartedly lifted their voices in song for the sick, pouring their hearts into every note.

𝐌𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞:
God thinks about us and gives us a future and hope.

𝐁𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐭:

■ His thoughts are thoughts of peace.
■ God not only grants us a future here in this world but even goes beyond that to promise us eternal fellowship with Himself.
■ The hope that God gives us strengthens us today and gives us courage in all circumstances.
