The Servant of God emphasized the declaration of Apostle Paul. Paul came to the church with a decision to know nothing else except Jesus Christ. Our concern in the Church must be only to know Jesus.
Today many are no longer concerned about Jesus. Instead they are concerned about gossips, self-worthy information, people's affairs, pastors' issues and pastors' affairs. Many come to church but instead of focusing on Jesus, they allow themselves to be distracted. That is the reason why the church is not growing and not experiencing the power of God - because we are too focused on people instead of focusing on Jesus.
The Man of God further stated that many Christians have fallen, but the dangerous ones are those who fall inside the house. Those who fall inside the house become the enemy of progress.
He gave the example of the Lost Son in Luke 15. The father had two sons. One son fell publicly. He took his father's wealth, went away and wasted it, and everyone saw his fall. But the other son also fell, yet his fall was not known because he fell inside the house.
When the prodigal son returned and was restored, the brother who remained in the house was not happy. The Man of God asked: How can you not be happy when your brother is being restored? If your brother is restored and you are not happy, it means you have become an enemy of progress. That is what is happening in the Church today - people are not happy when others are restored, blessed and lifted.
Furthermore, the Servant of God came to 1 ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐๐ง๐ฌ 2:4-5, "๐ ๐๐ข๐ ๐ง๐จ๐ญ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐๐ฌ ๐๐ฎ๐ญ ๐ข๐ง ๐๐๐ฆ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐จ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐ฉ๐ข๐ซ๐ข๐ญ ๐๐ง๐ ๐จ๐ ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฐ๐๐ซ, ๐ฌ๐จ ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ญ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐๐๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐ฌ๐ก๐จ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ ๐ง๐จ๐ญ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ฌ๐๐จ๐ฆ ๐จ๐ ๐ฆ๐๐ง ๐๐ฎ๐ญ ๐ข๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฐ๐๐ซ ๐จ๐ ๐๐จ๐.
He said for faith to stand, it needs a foundation, and that foundation is the power of God.
Paul was able to do the extraordinary because his faith was not resting on human ability or human wisdom. His faith was resting on God. That is why he declared, ๐ ๐๐๐ง ๐๐จ ๐๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฌ ๐ญ๐ก๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ ๐ก ๐๐ก๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ฐ๐ก๐ข๐๐ก ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ง๐๐ญ๐ก ๐ฆ๐" - ๐๐ก๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ข๐๐ง๐ฌ 4:13 - ๐๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ง๐๐๐๐ ๐ก๐ ๐๐ข๐ ๐๐๐ง๐จ๐ซ๐ฆ๐๐ฅ ๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฌ.
If your faith lies on the wisdom of man, it lies on the issues and affairs of man. It becomes weary, it is treated with contempt and it will not stand. But when your faith rests on God, you will do exploits.
Indeed, how God used Apostle Paul demonstrated that his faith was not based on human wisdom but on the power of God. Apostle Paul prayed for handkerchiefs, and though he was not present, those handkerchiefs healed people. This was to make people not depend on Paul, but to see that the power of God is there.
The Man of God emphasized that we must have a stubborn faith that stands on the power of God. People can tell you that you are being delayed. People can tell you about shortcuts, but you don't move. You stand firm on the power of God. You feel sick, they tell you to go to certain altars and bow, but you say no - I'm standing firm on the power of God.
๐๐ก๐๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐ฏ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐จ๐ ๐๐จ๐ ๐๐๐ฆ๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐๐๐ซ๐ค 10:46 ๐จ๐ง๐ฐ๐๐ซ๐๐ฌ - ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ฒ ๐จ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฆ๐๐ง. He said let your feet stand firm on the power of God. Just like this blind man, there were things that tried to silence him. But the Word says instead of allowing these things to silence him, he cried even more. When they tried to silence him, he increased. When they tried to compress him, he went on.
The sermon was concluded in an aggressive mass prayer. The congregation was moved into praying. The Servant of God declared: Even you who started that business and it is not being successful, don't let that thing discourage you. Keep on pressing. Keep on pressing.
He concluded by saying, I did not come with much, just to empower you with that spirit of stubbornness - to say you will stand on the power of God and you will not allow anything to silence you.
