Theme: The Eyes of the Spirit

Ephesians 1:18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, (NKJV)
Apostle Paul speaks about the functioning of the Holy Spirit in us that we might be able to know that which God has prepared for us as the saints. He is speaking of spiritual awakening, waking up and being active in the Spirit so that we might know what God has prepared for us.
The Holy Spirit is our sight in the things of God. Without the Holy Spirit it becomes difficult to be connected to the things of God. Without the Holy Spirit we can't be connected with God.
John 4:24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth." (NKJV)
When the Holy Spirit is absent it becomes difficult for man to worship God in Spirit and in Truth. The Truth is the Word of God and the Word of God is Christ. So when Jesus was teaching the multitude He was teaching them what is the perfect way of worship that the Father is looking for.
2 Corinthians 1:21 Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, 22 who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee. (NKJV)
