JESUS NATION WEEK CELEBRATION PART 2

The word of GOD by Pastor Lawrence

Think about a relationship. When you were just dating your boyfriend, he gave you his undivided attention. He would hate to see you leave, and he wanted to be with you every second. But sometimes, after marriage, that attention fades. The passion cools down.
God feels that exact same pain when we neglect Him. We get comfortable, and we stop giving Him the attention He deserves.
Remember From Where You Have Fallen
Jesus tells us to remember the height from which we have fallen. To do this, look back and identify exactly what caused you to drift away. What choked out your first love?

You used to pray the moment you woke up.
You used to give thanks before you ate.
Now, we often treat God like He is nobody, using Him only when it is convenient.

If it is pouring rain on a Monday morning, nothing stops you from going to work. You will put on your boots, grab your umbrella, and walk out the door because that job matters to you.
But if it rains 100% on a Sunday morning, what happens? Too often, we stay in bed and say, "God will understand."
Where is the "first love" in that? We show up for the world, but we give God our excuses.

It is dangerous when everyone around you is happy with your life, but God is not. You can look successful to the world while being spiritually bankrupt before the Lord.
Give God your first love again. Repent, remember where you started, and return to the passion you had when you first met Him.

JESUS NATION WEEK CELEBRATION PART 2

The word of GOD by Pastor Lawrence

Revelation 2:1-4

Standing Firm But Losing Heart
In Revelation, Jesus speaks directly to our perseverance: “I know your works, your labor, and your patience.” He knows how you stand against weakness and endure hardship for His name. But despite all the good things we do, God often has one major grievance: We have forsaken our first love.
When you accepted Jesus as your Lord and personal Savior, you drew a battle line with the devil. Whoever said Christianity was a "soft life" didn't know the truth. You will go through pain, and there are many worldly things you must refuse to entertain because you serve a living God. He sees your sacrifices. He is watching your faithfulness.
Yet, the Apostle Paul himself wrestled with constant hardship. He begged God to remove a "thorn in his flesh," but God’s response was simple: Keep going. My grace is sufficient. You have come too far to give up now.

JESUS NATION WEEK CELEBRATION PART 2

The word of GOD by Levite Brenda

Psalms 27:1–2
When we have God in our lives, we carry His light. Because the Lord is our light and our salvation, our enemies will be the ones who stumble and fall.
"The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked came against me to eat up my flesh, my enemies and my foes, they stumbled and fell."

Prayer: God, You are my light and my salvation. I will not fear because You are always with me. You have come to rescue me.

Deuteronomy 7:1

Just as God cast down the enemies of Israel and brought judgment upon Egypt, may He deal justly with the forces that oppose us today. He is a faithful God who clears away nations greater and mightier than we are to bring us into our promised place.

Romans 9:28

We can rest easy knowing that God is completely in control of time and justice. He does not delay when it is time to vindicate His people.

"For He will finish the work and cut it short in righteousness, because the Lord will make a short work upon the earth."

When God steps in to rescue you, His work is decisive, righteous, and swift.

JESUS NATION WEEK CELEBRATION PART 1

The word of GOD by Pastor Lawrence

John 10:1 — "Very truly I tell you Pharisees, anyone who does not enter the sheeppen by the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a robber."

You are a sheep, and by nature, sheep require leadership. Whoever seeks access to your mind, your heart, and your life must enter legally through the gate. Anyone or anything that tries to bypass the door, sneaking in through your vulnerabilities, your wounds, or your fears, is a thief. The enemy does not ask for permission; he breaks in to steal, kill, and destroy. But Jesus enters through the front door of truth, love, and light.

The Myth of Independence: Who Rules the Inside?

We like to believe we are completely independent, but the spiritual reality is that nobody truly controls themselves. There is always a driving force operating within us. We are either being directed by the Spirit of God or manipulated by the currents of this world.
The righteous are controlled and anchored by God. The way we live, the choices we make, and the peace we carry are direct results of Who lives on the inside of us.
If you are not independent, what force is currently driving your decisions? How did your current "shepherd" gain access to your heart? Was it through the door of faith, or did a spirit of anxiety, pride, or bitterness climb over the wall while you weren't watching?

Recognizing the Voice

John 10:3-4 — "The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out... his sheep follow him because they know his voice."

When the True Shepherd enters, a deep recognition happens. The sheep know His voice. When He directs them to move, they listen. When He tells them to step out in faith, they follow.
Therefore, we must ask ourselves the ultimate question: Whose voice are you listening to?
Is it the voice of the Shepherd calling you to holiness and peace?
Or is it the voice of a stranger the voice of media, peer pressure, doubt, or past trauma?

A Seven-Day Shepherd, Not a Sunday Guide

You only have one True Shepherd who has the right to lead you and direct your steps. Jesus Christ is not a part-time guide. He must not only lead your steps on Sunday morning while you are inside the church walls; He must be the Lord of your Monday decisions, your Tuesday finances, your Wednesday relationships, and your weekend conduct.
True sheep do not just visit the Shepherd once a week; they dwell in His presence daily. Let Him hold the reins of your life every single moment.

JESUS NATION WEEK CELEBRATION PART 1

The word of GOD by Levite Brenda

Psalm 23:1 — "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want."

When we have God, we lack absolutely nothing. When God leads your life, there is no way the enemy can defeat you because our God is unshakeably faithful.

Prayer: "Father, if You are the one leading me, guide me into green pastures. Restore my soul, and let my life be a testimony so that others may begin to know and glorify Your name."

The God Who Answers Before We Ask

Isaiah 65:24 — "Before they call I will answer; while they are yet speaking I will hear."

Our God is not distant. He is already moving on your behalf before the words even leave your mouth. He anticipates your needs, aligns your breakthroughs, and prepares the way ahead of time. You do not need to beg a reluctant God; you just need to trust an attentive Father.

Our Only Help in Times of Trouble

Psalm 40:17 — "As for me, I am poor and needy, but the Lord takes thought for me. You are my help and my deliverer; do not delay, O my God!"

We must boldly approach the throne of grace and remind God of His promises. We acknowledge our total dependence on Him: “Lord, You are our only Helper. If You do not help us, we simply cannot make it on our own.”

Seizing Your Appointed Time

God has declared that this is your appointed time in this Jesus Nation week a season of divine shifting and manifestation. Because it is His set time to favor you, we pray with holy urgency: “Lord, You said it is my time, so do not delay to answer me!”
It is time to take authority. Armed with the word of God, we must take over, confront our spiritual barriers, and uproot every mountain of stagnation, lack, or delay in our lives. What God has scheduled for you in this season cannot be canceled by the enemy.

Sunday Service LIVE: The Jesus Nation | pastor Lawrence

This is not a temporary blessing; it is a permanent generational inheritance rooted in Genesis 12:2-3, where God promised Abraham:
“I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing... and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
The reach of this covenant is so vast that it extends beyond your immediate awareness. As the Lord declares in Isaiah 45:4-5:
“For Jacob My servant’s sake, and Israel My elect, I have even called you by your name; I have named you, though you have not known Me.”
Even when your children or future generations do not fully comprehend the depth of this assignment, for your sake, they will benefit. Your alignment with the Jesus Nation today secures the wealth, protection, and prosperity of your lineage tomorrow.

Shalom
