Sermon Title: "The Cost of Following Christ”
Scripture Anchor: John 15:18–20

Today we confront a hard but necessary truth spoken by our Lord Jesus Christ. In John 15:18, Jesus declares: “If the world hates you, know that it hated Me before it hated you.” This is not a motivational speech—it is a warning. It is a call to sober-minded discipleship.

The “world” here represents a system opposed to God—its values, desires, and pride. When you begin to walk in righteousness, you expose darkness. And darkness does not celebrate light—it resists it.
- When you choose holiness over compromise, you - will be misunderstood.
- When you speak truth in a culture of deception, you will be rejected.
- When you stand for Christ, you will be isolated.

SERMON TITLE: “WHEN WE FAIL, CHRIST STILL LOOKS AT US WITH LOVE”
Text: Luke 22:50–60

Impulsive Faith Can Lead to Wrong Actions (v.50–51)

When Jesus is arrested, one of the disciples (Peter) reacts violently and cuts off the servant’s ear. He meant well—he was trying to defend Jesus, but his method was wrong. Jesus responds by healing the very man who came to arrest Him.

Not everything done in the name of God reflects the heart of God. Sometimes we act out of emotion, fear, or pride instead of wisdom.

In today’s world, people defend their faith through arguments, anger, or even division, yet Jesus shows us that love and healing must always come first.

Before the rooster crows in your life—before regret sets in, draw closer to Christ. Because even when you fail…His love never fails.

Good Friday reminds us of the greatest gift ever given—salvation through Jesus Christ. At the cross, love spoke louder than pain, grace overcame sin, and hope was born for all humanity. What looked like defeat became our victory.

SERMON TITLE: SIN, THE SILENT DESTROYER”
Romans 6:23
Date 29 March 2026

In a time where many avoid preaching the full truth of God’s Word, fearing offense, rejection, or losing members, today we where reminded that the church is not a stage, and the pulpit is not for entertainment.

The Gospel is not about pleasing people, but transforming lives. Today’s teaching boldly confronted a subject many shy away from: SIN.

Sin is not always loud or obvious. It is subtle, progressive, and rooted within the heart. Many are not defeated instantly, but gradually, by what they tolerate internally.

Sin begins in the heart, grows through desire, matures through action, and ends in destruction—but Jesus interrupts the process and gives new life!

The Progression of Sin - James 1:14–15
Desire → Action → Death
What you entertain today can destroy tomorrow.

The Solution: A New Heart, Ezekiel 36:26; 1 John 1:9; John 8:11

Through confession and repentance, God:
Forgives
Cleanses
Restores

When I Fall, I Will Arise
Text: Book of Micah 7:8 (NKJV)

Life is a journey that includes both victories and falls. Sometimes we experience moments when we stumble, through mistakes, discouragement, sin, or hardship. There are also moments when people around us may misjudge us, criticize us, or even celebrate our struggles.

But the Word of God reminds us today through the prophet Micah that a fall is not the end of the story. The enemy may think it is over, but God declares something different: “When I fall, I will arise.”

This verse is not just a statement, it is a declaration of faith, resilience, and hope in God.

So today declare with faith:
“Do not rejoice over me, my enemy. When I fall, I will arise!”

Sermon Title: Choosing What Is Better
Text: Luke 10:38–42
*Busy but Empty?

Beloved, we are living in a generation that celebrates busyness.
- If you are busy, you are considered important.
- If you are always doing something, you are considered productive.

Even in the church, we can be busy:
- Busy with meetings
- Busy with ministry
- Busy with preparation
- Busy with responsibilities

But here is the question:
Can you be busy for Jesus and still miss Jesus?
