28 June 2026, we gather as a church family in celebration of Youth Month πŸ™βœ¨

A powerful reminder that our young people are called to rise in faith, walk in truth, and shine the light of Christ in every place they go.

β€œArise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.” – Isaiah 60:1

We celebrate this generation with hope, prayer, and love.

Exodus 19:10–11, 22 & Exodus 32:1–8
God called His people to prepare themselves and approach Him with reverence and holiness. Yet while Moses was on the mountain receiving God's instructions, the people grew impatient, turned away, and made a golden calf to worship. The contrast is striking: God sought a holy relationship with His people, but they quickly exchanged His presence for an idol.
Key lesson: Waiting on God requires faith and obedience. Impatience can lead us to create substitutes for God instead of trusting Him.

πŸ”₯ FREEDOM IN CHRIST πŸ”₯
πŸ“– John 8:31–36 | Galatians 5:1, 13
Jesus came to give us a freedom that the world cannot offer. He said, β€œIf the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.”
True freedom is not a life without boundaries; it is freedom from the power of sin, fear, and anything that keeps us from becoming who God created us to be.
Christ has set us free β€” therefore we must stand firm and not return to the things that once held us captive. But our freedom is not for selfish living; it is an opportunity to serve God and others through love.
✨ Freedom in Christ means a new life, a new identity, and a new purpose. ✨

πŸ”₯ FREEDOM IN CHRIST πŸ”₯
πŸ“– John 8:31–36
True freedom is not found in doing whatever we want; it is found in knowing and following Jesus Christ. Jesus said, β€œIf you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
Many things can hold people captive β€” sin, fear, guilt, past mistakes, and the pressures of life. But Christ came to break every chain and restore us to our true identity in God.
Freedom begins when we remain in His Word, believe His truth, and allow Him to transform our lives. We are not slaves to our past; through Christ we become sons and daughters with a new hope and purpose.
✨ In Christ, we don’t just receive freedom β€” we live free. ✨

πŸ™Œ PRAISE FOREVERMORE πŸ™Œ
Text: Psalm 115:16–18
The dead do not praise the Lord, but we who are alive have every reason to bless His name! Every breath is a gift from God, and every day is an opportunity to worship Him.
Praise is not just something we do on Sundayβ€”it is the lifestyle of those who know the living God. We praise Him in the good times and in the difficult times, in victory and in waiting, because He is always worthy.
✨ Praise is rooted in life. ✨ Praise is a daily choice. ✨ Praise flows from knowing God. ✨ Praise points toward eternity.
As believers, we are preparing for the day when we will join the great multitude before God's throne and worship Him forever.
"But we will bless the LORD from this time forth and forevermore. Praise the LORD!" – Psalm 115:18

Rev J Nkoana - Galatians 3:11-14
From Curse to Blessing: The Great Exchange
Christ didn’t just sympathise with our failure β€” He became the curse we deserved so we could receive the blessing we could never earn.
No more striving. No more trying to be β€œgood enough.”
Through faith in Jesus, the curse of the Law is lifted, and the blessing of Abraham (justification + the Holy Spirit) is now ours β€” for every nation, every tribe, every South African.
The Law says β€œDo.”
The Gospel says β€œDone.”
Jesus took your curse. Now walk in His blessing.
Which part of this truth do you need most today β€” freedom from striving, or the power of the Spirit?
