John 14:6

Jesus explains who He is and why faith in Him is central to salvation.

“I am the way” means Jesus is the path that leads people back to God. He does not merely show the way

He is the way. Through His death, resurrection, and forgiveness, people can be reconciled with the Father.

“I am the truth” means Jesus fully reveals the character, will, and nature of God. His teachings are trustworthy, and His life shows us what is right and true.

“I am the life” means Jesus is the source of spiritual and eternal life. Through Him, people receive a new life, hope, purpose, and the promise of eternity with God.

“No one comes to the Father except through me” teaches that reconciliation with God is not achieved through good deeds, religious traditions, personal status, or human effort. It comes through believing in Jesus, receiving His grace, and following Him.

The verse assures believers that when they feel lost, Jesus is the way; when they are confused, Jesus is the truth; and when they feel spiritually empty or hopeless, Jesus is the life.
