A Word in Season from Pastor Laurie J Maralack
YOU WILL RECEIVE POWER
āBut you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on youā¦ā ā Acts 1:8
What a blessed Sunday in the house of the Lord! Today was not just a service, it was an encounter. Many hearts were stirred, surrendered, and filled afresh by the Holy Spirit.
The Lord reminded us that there is a difference between knowing about God and carrying the power of God. Jesus didnāt send His disciples to change the world in their own strength. He told them to wait until they were clothed with power from on high.
Like Peter before Pentecost, we can be fearful, weak, and silent. But when the Holy Spirit comes upon us, fear gives way to boldness, weakness to strength, and silence to witness.
Today, God is still filling hungry hearts. He is raising up ordinary people to be vessels of His glory - in homes, workplaces, schools, and communities.
Let this be your reminder:
Donāt lose heart. Keep praying. Keep hungering. Keep surrendering. The same Spirit that filled the early Church is moving here and now.
To everyone who received a fresh touch today - walk in it. You are anointed to be a witness.
Thank You Jesus for Your presence and power! š„š
āNow to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.ā ā Ephesians 3:20
