A Word in Season from Pastor Laurie J Maralack

YOU WILL RECEIVE POWER
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you…” – Acts 1:8

What a blessed Sunday in the house of the Lord! Today was not just a service, it was an encounter. Many hearts were stirred, surrendered, and filled afresh by the Holy Spirit.

The Lord reminded us that there is a difference between knowing about God and carrying the power of God. Jesus didn’t send His disciples to change the world in their own strength. He told them to wait until they were clothed with power from on high.

Like Peter before Pentecost, we can be fearful, weak, and silent. But when the Holy Spirit comes upon us, fear gives way to boldness, weakness to strength, and silence to witness.

Today, God is still filling hungry hearts. He is raising up ordinary people to be vessels of His glory - in homes, workplaces, schools, and communities.

Let this be your reminder:
Don’t lose heart. Keep praying. Keep hungering. Keep surrendering. The same Spirit that filled the early Church is moving here and now.

To everyone who received a fresh touch today - walk in it. You are anointed to be a witness.

Thank You Jesus for Your presence and power! 🔥🙌

Grateful for today’s word at CRC Mahikeng.
Pastor Laurie J Maralack reminded CRC Family so powerfully today “AND IN ALL THINGS GOD WORKS”.

Through the life of David, Pastor reminded us that:
Faith overcomes the giants we face
Worship keeps us anchored in God’s presence
Repentance restores us when we fall

Romans 8:28 and 8:37 came alive as the sermon showed us that God never wastes a season. He works in all things for the good of those who love Him, and in Him we are more than conquerors.

Many hearts were encouraged, challenged, and drawn closer to Jesus. The altar call was a beautiful reminder that it’s never too late to return to the Lord.

What a powerful afternoon at the Beauty for Ashes High Tea Fundraiser.

Today at CRC Mahikeng we came together to break the silence on gender-based violence and declare that God turns ashes into beauty.

Event highlights:
☕️A powerful, well-received message from on raising support and awareness
☕️A courageous testimony from a victim-survivor who reminded us why this work matters
☕️Insightful words from Boipelo, Founder
☕️Pastor Julia Scholtz-Maralack CRCMahikeng delivered the keynote address, leading us into a powerful time of prayer
☕️Altar call: Many ladies responded and prayed the prayer of salvation
☕️Raffle draw winners went home with stunning paintings created live by our onsite artist

What a truly uplifting Mother’s Day service! Pastor At Boshoff invited Pastor Wendy Treat to minister the word this morning.

Ps Wendy powerfully reminded us through the story of Hannah that God can transform brokenness into extraordinary breakthrough. No matter the depth of the struggle you’re facing, your loving Father is always there to lift you up and carry you through.

To all the remarkable mothers: we honour your heart and your selfless sacrifice today. May you experience God’s wholeness and boundless love in every aspect of your life.
