After praying in Gethsemane,Jesus was confronted by "a band of soldiers nd some officers from the chief priests nd the Pharisees," who had been led there by Judas.they seized Jesus nd led him to the high priest's house. After been questioned,Jesus was brought before Pontius Pilate,guarded by Roman soldiers.

THE 'HYPOSTATIC UNION'it is technical term in theology.it is used to describe how God nd human being are united in Jesus.As we saw,they are in this way:as sum1 divine,a divine person is in complete 'control' in Jesus'life.One person is therefore in control.God nd humanity are therefore said to be united in one person.now the Greek word that Christian thinkers used for person is 'hypostasis'.Therefor God nd humanity are united because one hypostasis is in control.They are therefore said to be united 'hypostatically'-i.e. personally.nd their union is called a hypostatic union that is a personal union,a union in one person.
