"Dear Borwa II Circuit youth league Parishes,

As the Chairperson, I hope that the recent Parish committee elections were conducted in a free and fair manner, reflecting the democratic principles enshrined in our South African Constitution (Section 19: Freedom of Association). I trust that the process was peaceful, transparent, and reflective of the will of the members, as we strive to build a united Church youth (Psalm 133:1).

To those who emerged victorious, congratulations! May your leadership be guided by wisdom, humility, and a servant's heart (Matthew 20:26-28). To those who did not succeed, do not be discouraged. Instead, use this opportunity to regroup, reflect, and renew your commitment to our shared vision (Romans 8:28).

As we move forward, we must remember that our purpose as a youth league is to empower young people to become active participants in the life of the Church, fostering spiritual growth, leadership development, and community engagement (Ephesians 4:12-13). Let us embrace our diversity and promote unity in our ranks, just as Paul urged the Corinthians to "be united in the same mind and the same judgment" (1 Corinthians 1:10).

With the Parish elections now behind us, our focus shifts to the upcoming circuit elections, scheduled for July 4-7, 2024. As we prepare to gather, let us be mindful of the importance of electing leaders with the necessary skills and competencies to propel our circuit forward (Acts 6:3). Let us avoid hasty decisions and elect leaders who will embarrass us, instead choosing those who will restore, revive, renew, regain, and reposition our circuit for greatness (Habakkuk 2:14).

As we navigate any pending disputes or concerns, may we do so with grace, love, and a commitment to amicable resolution (Matthew 18:15-17). May our actions be guided by the principles of justice, equality, and fairness, reflecting the very character of God (Isaiah 58:6-7).

Let us work together to build a united Borwa II Circuit

Greetings Compatriots, commissars, comrades and brethren.

On behalf of the Borwa II Circuit Youth League, I am delighted to express my heartfelt gratitude to Maboinelo Zone for hosting an extraordinary Youth Day event yesterday at Bodibe Parish. Your unwavering dedication and tireless efforts have indeed raised the flag of our circuit high, and we are eternally grateful.

The event was a resounding success, with young people from all over the circuit converging to celebrate, learn, and grow together. The atmosphere was electric, filled with boundless energy, enthusiasm, and a sense of purpose. We witnessed inspiring performances, thought-provoking discussions, and meaningful interactions that left a lasting impact on all who attended.

Your exceptional organization, meticulous planning, and attention to detail ensured a seamless and enjoyable experience for all. From the insightful keynote addresses to the engaging workshops and vibrant cultural performances, every aspect of the event was carefully crafted to enrich and empower our youth.

We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to Lomanyana Parish, Mahikeng Parish, and Sefatlhane Parish from Madikwe circuit for strengthening their partnership and collaboration. Your unity and cooperation are a shining example of the power of teamwork and the importance of working together towards a common goal. By supporting one another and sharing resources, you have demonstrated the true spirit of ecumenism and set a high standard for inter-parish collaboration.

Furthermore, we would like to acknowledge and thank Naaurwpoort Parish for their innovative and bold approach to celebrating Youth Sunday. By installing new members and embracing a cross-dress theme, you have challenged the status quo and promoted a 22nd-century mentality that is inclusive, accepting, and forward-thinking. Your willingness to push boundaries and challenge traditional norms is truly inspiring and has set a new benchmark for future events.

As the Chairperson of the Borwa II Circuit Youth League, I am honored to lead a team of dedicated and passionate young people who are committed to reclaiming, restoring, and renewing our circuit. We are grateful for the support and guidance of our circuit leaders and parish members, who have encouraged and empowered us to be the change we want to see in our communities.

We recognize that our circuit is blessed with diverse talents, skills, and experiences, and we are committed to harnessing these resources to make a positive impact in our world. We believe in the potential of our youth and are dedicated to providing platforms for growth, development, and empowerment.

Once again, we thank Maboinelo Zone, Lomanyana Parish, Mahikeng Parish, Sefatlhane Parish, and Naaurwpoort Parish for their outstanding contributions to our circuit. May our collective efforts continue to bear fruit and inspire future generations to rise up and make a positive difference in our world.

Let us continue to work together, support one another, and celebrate our diversity as we strive to build a brighter future for all. Thank you.
