TRUST IN THE LORD.

PSALM 23 is one of the greatest pieces of scripture available to the human race.The Psalmist says, "The Lord is my shephered, l shall not lack".
Jesus declared that he is Himself the good shephered.
God desires to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
As we approach the festive season, trust in this good shephered for your provision.
I assure you that the Lord will prepare a table before you in the presence of your enemies. When He annoints your head with oil your cup of blessing will overflow. God's intention is to bless us and He wills to provide for us.
However, He requires that we fully trust Him and obey His word and commands fully.
He has set His word above all things and obedience of His word is the qualification for this great promise.
I urge you precious reader, love the Lord with all your heart. Embrace His word and walk in His statutes and He will bless you beyond measure.
If you obey God's commands, surely goodness and mercy shall follow you all the days of your life. He required the same from Abraham, lsaac, Jacob and all the faithful patriarchs that went before us.
The standard has not changed and has not been lowered. God demands that we fully obey His commands and He will reward us with great blessings.

May The Lord, Father of All blessings bless us all.

FAITH lS BIGGER THAN SATAN.

There is only one prerequisite for accessing the unlimited power of God.
Jesus advised those who came to Him for healing, salvation, deliverance or miracles to believe.
He said to them: "Only believe."
In Mark 9:23, Jesus said to the father who brought his son for deliverance: "lf you can believe, all things are possible to him that believe."
This man's child was so troubled that even Jesus' disciples failed to cast out the devils that troubled the boy.
The father was desperate, but Jesus said: "Only believe."
One woman had a blood problem that doctors couldn't resolve, but Jesus said to her in Mark 5:36: Be not afraid, only believe."
This shows us that there is one thing that stands between us and our fears, troubles, worries and obstacles.
Instead of being afraid of the sickness in our bodies or the turmoil in our lives, we need to take a leap of faith.
It doesn't matter how big or ugly the challenge is, your faith is bigger than your storm. Your faith is bigger than satan.
Your faith in God is bigger than sickness or calamity.
Paul said: lf God be for us then who can be against us?
He answered: "No one."

WE ARE STILL THE SALT OF THE EARTH.

The Book of Matthew, chapter five represents one of the most vital teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. This sermon of Christ is affectionately termed the sermon on the mount, or the Beatitudes.
In verse 13, Jesus said these precious words: "Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted?"
"It is henceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men".
Jesus metaphorically compared the role of His followers to salt.
He said to them, "You are the salt of the world". Salt is significant to mankind.lt is used to give food a good taste and was also a trusted source for preserving food.
In this verse, Jesus implied that His disciples were mandated to contribute meaningfully to life by becoming a source of good flavour, healing and preservation.
Jesus urged the disciples not to lose their savour as it determined their value or usefulness. As the church we cannot be as immoral.
We need to become living examples to the world.

THE GIFT OF ETERNAL LIFE.

God created man in His own image and likeness.He gave a human being a perfect human life.
Man had the ability to fellowship with God.We learn from the Book of Genesis that God visited mankind everyday and both mankind and God could speak face to face. Man, however, lost this benefit when he fell into sin. Since his fall, man lost the right to stand in the presence of God, he became separated from God according to lsaiah 59:1--2. This separation affected both man and God negatively.When man lost his right of standing before God, the heart of God became desperately lonely. God the Father had lost the children of His love.
God then sought ways of restoring mankind to a perfect relationship with Himself.This meant that man had to be granted the God type of life also called eternal life. John 3:16 says, For God so loved the world that He gave His Son (Jesus) that those who believe in Him should recieve eternal life.
Jesus, through His blood, washes away our sins if we accept Him as our LORD and SAVIOUR.

CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS.

1 Corinthians 15:3--4 says: "For l delivered unto you first of all that which l also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures. And that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day, according to the scriptures".
When The LORD Jesus was hanged on the cross, his persecutors thought that they had fully subdued and overcame Him.
I believe satan, who is the archenemy of both GOD and Christ, celebrated thinking he had finally conquered Christ. Jesus' disciples have fainted in the hearts and lost hope and courage when they saw the man they loved and whom they had entrusted with their very lives. This was such a moment in which dreams were buried alive, hope became hopelessness. Little did they know that Master Jesus had willingly allowed the enemy to put Him to death.
His disciples might have forgotten Jesus' statement of His own death: "Greater love hast no man lay down his life for his friends," (John 15:13).On the cross Jesus hanged to fulfil this great promise.
He had just laid down His life for us all. Paul tells us that Christ died for our sins. Brethren, accept this love-gift of God. Repent of your sins.

SERVE GOD ALONE.

The Book of Daniel, chapter 3, tells us of the three Hebrew boys Shadrack, Meshack and Abednego. They refused to bow down to the golden image that King Nebuchadnezzar had made.
The king had decreed that at the sounding of a horn, all people should bow to this god. This act of worshipping idols is forbidden in lsrael for the Lord had commanded the people through Moses saying, "You shall have no other god before Me.
You shall not make for yourself a carved image; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them" (Exodus 20:4--5).
These Jewish brothers understood that it is more honourable to serve God than to obey the voice of a mere human being or idol. The punishment for not serving the god was to be burned alive.
God is a jealous God and forbids those who worship Him from worshipping any other thing as well.
We have seen in this scripture that God is faithful to protect those who choose Him over other gods.
Many people worship the ancestors and have set up altars in their homes.
But l urge you to turn away from other gods and to worship God alone.

FAITH OVERCOMES ALL.

Faith is one of the fundamental subjects preached in Christian circles.
It determines our response to God and it also affirms God's response to us. The scriptures tell us that God demands faith from His people and without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6).
We are justified by faith.To be justified means to be declared fit to stand in the presence of God.
Today, l aim to empower you precious readers on the subject of faith so that you can reconnect to God who is the source of our blessings.
We will learn about faith so that we may experience constant victory and breakthrough in our lives.
Romans 10:9 teaches of the overcoming faith.
It says: "lf thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
You must first believe in your heart, then confess with your mouth.
This type of faith only believes the Word of God and confesses it.You don't wait for your eyes to see it, like Thomas, who said: "l will not believe that Jesus rose from the dead until l see the marks on His hands and on His side".
This faith will not wait for results before it can believe, but results will come forth because of faith.

HIS GIFTS ARE GOOD.

James 1:17 says: "Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows."
Every gift from God is good and perfect. Anything that is given by God to us will never produce evil.
The Bible tells us that the blessing of the Lord makes one rich and that He adds no sorrow with it.Therefore, gifts from God will not be detrimental to your life. I told you before that 2016 is the year of open doors. Do not allow satan to rob you your blessings and give you fake gifts that might cost you.
John 3:16 to 17 shows us that God is always motivated by His love for us in giving us gifts.
It says: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life."
God did not sent His Son to condemn the world but that the world might be saved through Him. This means God's gift will always not condemn us but will bring us much joy.

UNDERSTAND THE POWER AND AUTHORITY OF CHRIST.

Mat 28:18--20 (18): And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All the Power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
(19)Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: (20) Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever l have commanded you: and lo, lam, lam with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
In this scripture Christ said the most powerful statement: All power is given to me in heaven and on earth.This is absolute power and authority regarding all the affairs of earth and heaven.This means there is no authority or power here on earth or in heaven beyond Christ.
In Phillipians we learn that God exalted Christ and has given Him a name above every name in heaven, on earth and under the earth. Power is transferable from one person to the other.
Christ in Luke (9) said to His followers,"l saw the devil falling down like a lightening, behold, l give you power to trample over scorpions and serpent and All power of the enemy". Jesus said, All power is given to me .... therefore go ye.This indicates that Jesus transferred His God-given power to His followers.Do not be afraid of satan because Jesus gave you power more than that of satan.

THE FOUNDATION OF LIFE.

The strength,stability and longevity of anything in life are determined by the quality of its foundation.
Foundations are underground and invisible structures,yet they determined the strength even of the largest building.
In Psalms 11:3 David asks a fundamental question: if the foundation be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
Thus if the foundation is compromised, the quality of any structure built on it will be compromised.
In biology a cell is a basis of life.Many people neglect the foundations of life.Youth is the foundation of your adult life.
What you do with your life today determines the value of your life tomorrow.ln Luke 6:47--49 Jesus taught us about the importance of foundations.
He gives an example of two builders.One builds on a solid foundation and the other on a compromised foundation.
Both buildings face storms.The one on a solid foundation stands the test of time while the other becomes ruined.
In life our thoughts,principles and actions are foundations determining our ultimate life.
Whatever you do today will be reflected in your tomorrow.
Therefore, watch your thoughts, words and deeds for they determine the outcome to your life.
