Day 5 of Fasting

Word of the day from Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways submit to Him and He will make your paths straight.

This verse challenges us to actively trust, even when circumstances are hard. True faith isn't just about believing in God's goodness but also acting on it.

Reflect on areas of your life where you might be leaning on your own understanding instead of God's. Surrender those areas to Him, asking for His guidance and strength to trust His way.

Day 4 of fasting

Good morning Brethren

Word of the day Psalm 51v10

Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

This verse serves as a beautiful reminder to us that no matter how far we feel we have strayed, God is always ready to receive us back with open arms. We can be encouraged that through prayer and sincere acknowledgement of our weaknesses, we can experience a fresh start. God's love is vast enough to encompass our failures and transform our hearts.

📖 Word of the Day – Matthew 21:22

"If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer." — Matthew 21:22

This verse emphasizes the importance of faith when we pray. God calls us to approach Him with confidence, trusting that He hears our prayers and is able to do exceedingly more than we can ask or imagine.

When we pray with unwavering faith and align our hearts with God's will, we open ourselves to His blessings, guidance, and answers. Faith is not simply wishing for something—it is trusting God even before we see the outcome.

Fasting is more than abstaining from food—it is an act of surrender, dependence, and seeking God's guidance. Ezra and the people sought the Lord with sincere hearts, and God faithfully answered their prayers.
