Mathew 4v4
But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Jesus speaking with the devil said man shall not live by bread alone . Jesus makes it clear through scripture that it is impossible for man to live by bread ( that is food alone ). This is so because man is not entirely physical. As much as is man may think that they are only physical, man is also Soul and Spirit (Genesis 2v7).
So as much as man is body , he is also Soul and Spirit therefore he CANNOT survive by only feeding the flesh. The Soul and the Spirit of man needs to be fed as much if not more .
Many people in life are ignorant to feed the Spirit and the soul part of man hence they live their lives Spiritually malnourished and emotionally deficient. We need the Word of God to feed the Soul( the heart and mind) to live Spiritually enlightened lives.
The Word of God pushes our desires to be aligned with the will of God. The more the Spirit man is fed by the Word of God, the more the more that man thinks about the will of God. But if more of the flesh is fed the man thinks more about the things of this world (Romans 8 v 6-8)
PRAYER
Lord Jesus we pray that may you feed us today with your Word. May our Spirit and our Soul be nourished today by your word so that our desires may be aligned with your purpose for our lives.

Greetings brothers and sisters
Due the Covid19 pandemic the following arrangements are implemented:
1. Our Sunday services will run as normal
2. Tuesday services have been moved to Friday prayer
: Specifically focusing on Covid19
3. All precaution shall be taken in our services to comply with the government advice
: Sanitisers shall be made available for all attending
: Seating arrangement shall be thus moderated accordingly
: All church equipment shall be sanitised
4. Our Easter conference shall go ahead as planned
: All precaution taken during our services shall be taken during our Easter conference.
We remain steadfast that our God is a consuming fire
