Laudium Tamil Association - SIVAN Alayam Laudium Tamil Association was established in 1961 to cater for the needs of the community of Laudium and surrounding areas. Elections are bi-annually.

It is a cultural, social, educational and religious, non-profit organization. Its facilities are used by various groups :- Monday senior citizens club, Thursday clinic blood press

ure and diabetes testing, Meetings for schools, Sports and classical dance lessons, Social functions. Laudium Sivan Alayam serves the Religious aspect of the organization. The organisation is funded by donations from the community. Its executive, and trustees are volunteers and do not receive any remuneration for their services. Meetings are held once a week on a Monday.
