*Eulogy on behalf of the Sanathan Dharma Sabha*
It is with profound sadness that the President, Trustees, Executive Committee, and the entire Sanathan Dharma Sabha family extend our deepest condolences to the Riga family on the passing of our dear brother, Mr Hetesh Riga.
Today, we gather not only to mourn a life that has come to its earthly end, but also to celebrate a life that was part of a family deeply woven into the history and service of our Sabha. The Riga family has been an integral part of our spiritual community for many years, and their contribution to Sanathan Dharma Sabha will forever be remembered with gratitude and respect.
Hetesh was the beloved son of the late Mr Anand Riga, a dedicated Trustee of the Sabha whose commitment, wisdom, and selfless service helped strengthen the foundations of our organisation. Alongside his mother, Mrs Manjula Riga, and the entire Riga family, they have shared in the journey of preserving and promoting Sanathan Dharma within our community.
While Hetesh may have faced lifeโs challenges differently, he touched the hearts of those who knew him through his unique personality, gentle presence, and the love he shared with his family. He remained a cherished son, brother, relative, and friend whose life held meaning and value in the eyes of all who loved him.
The Bhagavad Gita teaches us that the soul is eternal; it is neither born nor does it die. The physical body may perish, but the Atma continues its sacred journey. As we bid farewell to Hetesh, we pray that Lord Vishnu and our Divine Mother guide his soul towards eternal peace and liberation.
To Mrs Manjula Riga, Manoj, Hema, and the extended Riga family, please know that you do not grieve alone. The Sanathan Dharma Sabha stands beside you during this difficult time, sharing in your sorrow and keeping you in our prayers.
May the memories of Hetesh bring comfort in the days ahead, and may the legacy of service and devotion established by the Riga family continue to inspire generations to come.
Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti.
Issued on behalf of the President, Trustees, Executive Committee, and Members of the Sanathan Dharma Sabha, Ladysmith.
