On the 2nd of May 2026, the Young People (YP) Leaders of Nobuhle District successfully hosted a team-building lunch at iCebo Entertainment Car Wash. The gathering provided a meaningful opportunity for fellowship, reflection, and strategic planning aimed at strengthening the work and impact of the district.

During the session, leaders engaged in constructive discussions focused on the overall development of Nobuhle District. Key areas of focus included preparations for the upcoming June 16 Fundraising Event, as well as planning and coordination for the Dare2Care initiative. These events were highlighted as important platforms to foster unity, community involvement, and support for those in need.

In addition, the leaders shared forward-looking ideas and outlined future plans intended to enhance growth, participation, and spiritual development within the district. The meeting emphasized collaboration, commitment, and the shared vision of advancing the work of God.

The Nobuhle District YP Leaders remain dedicated to serving with purpose and excellence, guided by the principle: “In Christ we live & in Christ we move.”

On Easter Sunday, 05 April 2026, the Rector; Priest Kondile, conducted the Divine Service at Nobuhle South Congregation.

The sermon was based on John 20:17-18:
"Jesus said to her, ‘Do not cling to me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.”’ Mary Magdalene then went and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord and that He had spoken these things to her."

Sister Likhanye Totwana read the Bible passage from Mark 16:1-15.

The Rector called Priest Zendile and Priest Takane to serve during the service.

The atmosphere during the service was filled with a sense of awe and spiritual joy as the congregation meditated on the resurrection of Jesus Christ and its significance for all believers.

The service concluded with the choir closing hymn, bringing the congregation together in worship and celebration.

After the service, the Sunday School District Coordinator, Sister Kona, held a meeting with the district Sunday School coordinators to plan upcoming activities and initiatives for the children.
