The African Gospel Church – Faith City Centre wishes to assure all members, partners, friends of the ministry, and the wider community that all church services remain operational and will continue according to the ministry’s established schedule.

Following the unfortunate incident that recently occurred at our church premises, church leadership has taken the necessary steps to ensure the continued functioning of ministry activities while cooperating fully with the relevant authorities.

Our weekly services will continue as follows:

Wednesday Prayer & Fasting Service
18:00pm – 20:00pm

Sunday Service Experience
08:30am – 11:30am

The church remains committed to providing a place of worship, prayer, fellowship, and sound biblical teaching for all congregants.

However, the church wishes to inform the public that media operations and content distribution will be temporarily suspended until further notice. This suspension follows the loss of several mobile phones and devices used for ministry media purposes during the recent incident.

This measure has been implemented to allow the relevant investigations to proceed without interference and to enable the ministry to assess and restore its media capabilities appropriately. We therefore ask for patience and understanding from all those who regularly follow our media platforms and online content.

We are grateful for the overwhelming support, prayers, and messages of encouragement received from churches, ministry partners, community members, and friends of the ministry during this period.

The leadership of African Gospel Church – Faith City Centre remains steadfast in faith and confident that God will continue to sustain His Church. We encourage all members to remain prayerful, united, and committed to the work of the Kingdom.

🚨 OFFICIAL MEDIA STATEMENT 🚨

African Gospel Church – Faith City Centre

It is with deep sadness that we inform our church family, partners, and the wider community that during our Wednesday Prayer & Fasting Service on 04 June 2026, armed assailants entered our premises and robbed members of the congregation of their mobile phones and money.

While this incident has left many shaken, we are grateful to God that no lives were lost and no physical injuries have been reported.

A formal case has been opened with the South African Police Service, and investigations are currently underway. We are fully cooperating with law enforcement authorities as they work to identify and apprehend those responsible.

We ask our members, friends, and the broader community to keep all affected families in prayer during this difficult time. We also appeal to anyone with information that may assist in the investigation or recovery of the stolen items to contact the relevant authorities.

As a church, we remain steadfast in our faith and confidence in God. We believe that even in adversity, the Lord remains our refuge, strength, and ever-present help.
