KEEPING THE FEAST OF PASSOVER AND THE FEAST OF UNLEAVENED BREAD
A Call Back to the Order of the Most High YAHUAH
From the beginning, the Most High established His appointed times not as traditions of men but as everlasting signs between Him and His people. Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread are commanded gatherings, rooted in deliverance, obedience and remembrance. These days teach us how to walk in covenant, in purity and in truth just as it was spoken through Moses, upheld by the prophets and perfectly walked by Yahusha
“In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at twilight is the Passover of the Most High. And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the Feast of Unleavened Bread…” (Leviticus 23:5–6)
“With desire I have desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer.” (Luke 22:15)
1. THE APPOINTED TIMES AND THEIR ORDER
The timing is exact and not to be altered:
14th day of the 1st month (Abib) → Passover (at twilight, going into the 15th)
15th–21st days of the 1st month → Feast of Unleavened Bread (7 days)
Passover begins at sunset on the 14th day, marking the transition into the 15th. This is when the lamb was slain and eaten.
The Feast of Unleavened Bread begins immediately after and continues for seven full days, ending at sunset on the 21st day.
2. WHAT PASSOVER IS AND HOW IT IS KEPT
Passover is the remembrance of deliverance when the Most High brought Israel out of bo***ge. It is centered on the lamb.
“They shall eat the flesh on that night, roasted in fire, with unleavened bread and bitter herbs they shall eat it.” (Exodus 12:8)
“You shall observe this thing for an ordinance to you and to your sons forever.” (Exodus 12:24)
How it is observed:
-The meal is eaten at night (after sunset)
It includes:
-Lamb (or remembrance of the Lamb if not possible)
-Unleavened bread
-Bitter herbs
It is eaten in readiness and humility, remembering deliverance
Nothing is to remain until morning (Exodus 12:10)
