(Scripture Reading - Isaiah 43:18 NKJV)
[18] โDo not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.
When you keep on thinking of what you have done, of what people have done to you ,you'll never see the mercies of God . You will never perceive what God want to do with your life.
When you are risen and you are seated with Him, you cannot think of the former things .
Just look unto the cross, look unto the crucified Christ what He has done for you.

[18] Do not [earnestly] remember the former things; neither consider the things of old.
[19] Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
What causes us not to see the good things of God ? The things that is in our mind.

[18] โBut forget all thatโ it is nothing compared to what I am going to do
'Forget all that, It is nothing compared to what God will do in your life; forget about that, forget! Look unto Jesus, focus unto the crucified Christ, the one who carried all your sins away, all your burdens, that not even your mother or father or husband or wife can save you from.
Because God sees from within all that and that is why He said :"bring all your burdens unto me, all your cares, I will carry for you take my yoke, for my yoke is easy.[Scripture Reference - Matthew 11]
But what are we doing? We are busy reminding ourselves of what we must forget . Sometimes people won't remind you, but you will be busy reminding yourself, because you do not believe at the finished work of the cross.

[18] โBut forget all thatโ it is nothing compared to what I am going to do.
(Verse 19 - NLT)
[19] For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.
This is all what God wants to do to you when you receive Jesus Christ and forget about the former things, and forget all the things that you have done . It doesn't matter even if they can remind you. Remember the life of the pr******te when Jesus forgave all her sins and He said :"all your sins are forgiven". [Scripture Reference - John 8]
When they reminded her, I believe it that she would tell them that :'I don't even remember what you are talking about".
The problem is that we are condemned by what we know, especially the secret that no one knows about , it will hunt you until you confess it to the Lord and live according to the ways of God.
Today we are celebrating the risen Christ, today we are celebrating the power of the cross, today we are celebrating the resurrected Christ as we have risen with Him.
(Scripture Reading - Romans 6:1-4 NLT)
[1] Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace?
[2] Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it?
[3] Or have you forgotten that when we were joined with Christ Jesus in baptism, we joined him in his death?
[4] For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives.
Blessed reader, we are baptized to death, when you are baptized to death; the things of this world they are no longer alive to you . That is why you can be in the midst of drunkards, but you will never drink, you can be in the midst of sinners , because you are dead to the things of this world they won't affect you.
When you are dead to the things of this world, you become immortal and you only want to do what your Father is doing, you only want to please God. When you are dead into Christ, what you see is only the presence. You cannot sin while you are in the presence, you cannot sin while the glory of the Lord is all over you,-
Because you only see what is from above.
(Scripture Reading - Romans 6:1 AMPC)
[1] WHAT SHALL we say [to all this]? Are we to remain in sin in order that God's grace (favor and mercy) may multiply and overflow?
Can favor and mercy multiply when you are sinning? No, it cannot. You will only see death, the only thing that will multiply it is death. So, let us not play with grace, we only obtain grace by believing the crucified Christ.
(Verse 2 - AMPC)
[2]Certainly not! How can we who died to sin live in it any longer?
How can you? I personally I was saved from drinking alcohol and I didn't know Christ, but now I know who Christ is. Can I go back and sin again? The word of God said :"drunkards will never see heaven, will never enter the kingdom of God". [Scripture Reference - 1 Corinthians 6:10].
While I have tasted the glory, can I go back and say ,because I once received Jesus Christ, and God will save me . No. because I'll be doing that with understanding , I'll be sinning before my Savior.

[3] Are you ignorant of the fact that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?
(Verse 4 - AMPC)
[4] We were buried therefore with Him by the baptism into death, so that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious [power] of the Father, so we too might [habitually] live and behave in newness of life.
"We too, we might habitually live according to the newness", according to the newness that we have received with Christ.
God loves you so much!
The newness, the new life after resurrection there's a new life, after Jesus Christ was resurrected, He was resurrected from the dead and He started to appear to many.
Before He died and before He was resurrected, He never appeared to many because he was a human being; but after He was resurrected from death, He appears.
We appear to many because of the resurrected life, because of the newness that is found in us through Christ Jesus.
(Verse 5 - AMPC)
[5] For if we have become one with Him by sharing a death like His, we shall also be [one with Him in sharing] His resurrection [by a new life lived for God].
Apostle Paul says :"if you want to share in his glory with him, you must first share with Him in his suffering".
But many, don't want to suffer, they want things to come the way they want as they are on a platter; everything must come a car, a house, a job, clothes and marriage; you want them to come easily.
But the word of God said :"we need to suffer before we can obtain that." And this is are just the things of the world. We obtain what is unperishable; we get what cannot be taken away from us. We have received what money cannot buy. The word of God is the only thing in our life that cannot be taken away from us.
(Verse 6 - AMPC)
[6] We know that our old (unrenewed) self was nailed to the cross with Him in order that [our] body [which is the instrument] of sin might be made ineffective and inactive for evil, that we might no longer be the slaves of sin.
Our flesh must be made ineffective to sin . When you find yourself being a child of God but your body being active to sin, you have not yet died to sin, you died to sin with mouth , by speaking ,but the way you live your life, it doesn't show that you are resurrected.
Blessed reader, we are preaching what we know, even yourself you know.
As Apostle Peter said :"I'm going to preach this thing, I'm going to repeat it until until Christ is formed in you".
Until when you think of doing wrong, the word shall run in your mind. We are given the Holy Spirit as our conscience, when you do what is wrong, let the Spirit that in you tell you that 'what you are doing is wrong.'
But many are ignorant from the still soft voice ,they are not listening to their conscience. After committing sin , you say :'Oh true the Holy Spirit spoke but I ignored , I thought it was my mind .
