God Loved us so much that He saw us living in darkness saved us from death, He wanted to restore a relationship with us so The Lord sent us a word through Prophet Isaiah 7:14, He said a virgin shall conceive a son His name shall be called Immanuel (God is with us), which is another way to prove that He wanted to live with us and within us.
It was only after 700 years that the prophecy came to pass, Matthew 1:20-25 an angel came to Joseph in a dream with the same word, his wife Mary shall conceive a son by the Holy Spirit and His name shall be called Jesus( God saves) meaning a savior of the lost.
And indeed, Jesus was born a Savior, a Messiah who later died, and He was risen from the dead and now seated at the right hand of Our Father God.
Isaiah 9:2 The people who walked in darkness Have seen a great light; Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, Upon them a light has shined.
We received unconditional love, by God's grace, those who believe are saved. For this reason, we are celebrating His birth, doing so with understanding not according to human calendar but because of the Love, mercy, and compassion that God showed us.
I would love to wish you all a very merry Christmas, May the Almighty God continue to bless you, strengthen, protect, increase, and prosper you and yours in all areas of your lives this season. May God renew your strength like an eagle for the new year. May 2026 be a year where we continue to seek and hunger more for the Lord.
