Our hearts are heavy as we witness the pain and suffering caused by Gender-Based Violence and Femicide (GBVF) in our community. Lives are broken,families are hurting, and too many voices cry out in silence. In this moment, we
turn to the one who heals, strengthens, and restores.

We humbly invite you to join us in a youth-led, multi-church prayer gathering, hosted by the KwaThema Youth Collaboration Ministries.

This initiative brings together young people from different churches, working together for the good of the community not for individual recognition, but to bring hope, healing, and awareness to all.

As the Apostle Paul reminds us, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” It is in this strength that we gather not as individuals, but as the Body of Christ united in faith, love, and purpose. Your presence, prayers, and spiritual leadership will shine as a light of hope to those who feel abandoned,
fearful, and broken.

Let us come together to proclaim that violence has no place in God’s kingdom, that every life is sacred, and that through prayer and faith, we can be instruments of healing and transformation. Dress Code: All Black

In commemoration of this year’s Youth Day, Kwa-Thema Youth Collaboration Ministries joined a powerful initiative that brought together the youth of our community under one banner of faith, unity, and purpose. This vibrant gathering was not just a celebration, but a call to action as we joined hands with local organisations, the South African Police Service (SAPS), the Department of Education, local government, and other key stakeholders to pour into the lives of young people.

This special day served as a platform for honest dialogue, spiritual revival, and practical empowerment. Through worship, motivational talks, and resource-sharing, we reminded our youth of their value, their voice, and their vital role in shaping the future of Kwa-Thema and beyond. It was a beautiful reflection of what is possible when the church and community walk together with one vision to uplift and empower the next generation.
