*SUNDAY HOLY MASS*

Greetings to you all dear brothers and sisters in Christ.

I would like to remind and confirm that this Sunday the 23rd of August the *21st Sunday in Ordinary Time* we will have Holy Mass at the usual hour *8am*

Gospel: *Who do YOU say that I am?* Jesus' question to his disciples at that time and to us today, is a living and perpetual question for every Christian. Who is Jesus for me? And to know Him, where do I look?
May Jesus question help us to examine our life, our relationship with God and with one another and our Conscience, so that knowing Him may bring us joy and consolation as we journey through our life.

God bless

*HOLY MASS REMINDER*
Greetings to you all dear brothers and sisters in Christ. Hoping you are all well.

I just wanted as usual to remind and confirm that this Sunday the 9th of August the *19 Sunday in Ordinary Time* we will have Holy Mass at the usual hour *8am*

Gospel: Jesus beckons Peter to come to Him walking on the water. Peter is first curious and tries but gets overwhelmed that he CAN actually walk on the raging waters. Then doubts and uncertainties weigh in on him. Jesus rebukes him for having little faith.

We, like Peter are reminded that, if we keep our eyes on Christ even when walking on raging waters, He will stretch His hand and pull us. But if we look down to the raging waters and suddenly doubt that we can go through the situations, we will allow the situations to overwhelm us.

God bless

*COMMUNION SERVICE*
Greetings to you all dear brothers and sisters in Christ.

Please be advised that this Sunday the 26th July the *17th Sunday in Ordinary Time* you will have a *Communion Service* at the usual hour *8am*

Gospel: Jesus continues the discourse on *Parables of the kingdom.* He provokes our minds and hearts to discover that the kingdom of God is not distant nor is it reserved for a chosen few, but through the beautiful imagery he uses of our day to day experiences He teaches us the the Kingdom of God can be discovered in the simplicity of our day to day life experiences.

*COMMUNION SERVICE*

Greetings to you all dear brothers and sisters in Christ. Hoping that you are all well.
Please be advised that, this Sunday the 19th of July the *16th Sunday in Ordinary Time* you will have *a Communion Service* at the usual hour *8am*

*Gospel:* Jesus teaches about the kingdom of heaven in parables. Not so as to keep the message hidden, nor to keep it inaccessible to simple people, but rather, Jesus uses images from day to day life, so that the listener, by thinking of the parable over and over again, and meditating on the images, we will come to the discovery of *the Message.* And when we discover it, it will remain with us.
Just like when a very young child or toddler, reaches the stage of understanding, and figures out something the parents have been teaching repetitively, the child will get so excited as to have "discovered" what Mum and Dad have been saying. And the child will excitedly tell the parents as though he or she discovered for themself.
..the parents become proud of their child's growth.

So too are we called to have child-like faith and trust in God. Jesus' contemporaries, especially those who were plotting against Him, missed the Message of the parables because they were too judgemental towards Him and too analytic and too critical to His message.

God bless you all

*HOLY MASS REMINDER*
Greetings to you all dear brothers and sisters in Christ. Hope you are well.

A word of *Thanks for the prayers and support* we gave to the Gouveia family, to Debbie, Sandra and the whole family, at the funeral Mass and burial of our dear Roberto on Tuesday the 7th July.👏🏾✝️

This Sunday the 12th of July, the *15th Sunday in Ordinary Time*, we will have Holy Mass at the usual hour *8am*

Gospel mediation: *The Parable of the Sower* One of the parables we know from as far back as childhood. in our day to day speech, we usually say of people or a person who is divisive, takes sides for the worst, causes chaos in the family or workplace or chucrh community, that they *sow seeds of division, disunity, disharmony* This Sunday, perhaps for our private personal meditation and prayer and conversation with our inner selves, with the help of the Holy Spirit, we need to as:
*What seeds do I sow in my family, workplace, community, Church, in my chidren's hearts and my dependants?*

What type of "gound"is my herat, *rocky, sandy, full of thorns or fertile* such that the seed of the Word of God can find a place to grow or perhaps will not grow?

What type of seed am I? Do i bring life to others? Or do I close in on myself and not "germinate"?

May this parable be for us a guide to be receptive to God's Word and sow seeds of love.

God bless

*COMMUNION SERVICE*
Greetings to you dear brothers and sisters in Christ. Hoping that you are all well.

Please be advised that this Sunday the 5th of July the *14th Sunday in Ordinary Time* you will have a *COMMUNION SERVICE* at *8am* as one of us will be away on a Diocese task.

Gospel: Our Lord Jesus calls us to come to Him with all our burdens, worries, anxieties and He will reassure us. A lot happens in our lives, but amidst the burdens let us not forget to be *THANKFUL* and *TRUST* in God's providence as Jesus prayed, thanking the Father for revealing His Providence to the humble, the distressed, those yearning for Him.

God bless

*HOLY MASS REMINDER*

Greetings dear brothers and sisters. Hoping you are all well.

I just wanted as usual to remind and confirm that this Sunday the 28th of June *the 13th Sunday in Ordinary Time* we will have Holy Mass at the usual hour *8am*

Gospel: *Whoever loves father or mother more than me, is not worthy of me...* Jesus calls us to a radical discipleship which goes above family (and even cultural bonds). He does not mean we should alienate ourselves from our parents or act as if we are "holier" than them, but rather that our discipleship must be unconditional and sincere.

God bless
