As usual I just wanted to remind and confirm that this Sunday the 31st May *the Solemnity if the Holy Trinity* we will have Holy Mass at the usual hour........

*SOLEMNITY OF PENTECOST* - *HOLY MASS TIME change*

Greetings to you all dear brothers and sisters. Hoping you are all fine.

*Please be advised that this Sunday 24 May we will be celebrating the Solemnity of Pentecost...*

*HOLY MASS WILL BE AT.....*

*10am*
..reason being that in Kamhlushwa we will have the Pentecost Vigil as we do every year and this will allow the priests a brief rest after the Mass at dawn.

The Solemnity of Pentecost is Liturgically preceded by the Vigil Mass which is recommended where possible. In places where it is not possible, the Sunday celebration is observed.

Kindly inform others.

*HOLY MASS REMINDER*

Greetings to you all dear brothers and sisters in Christ. Apologies for the delayed weekly Holy Mass reminder.

Just to confirm that this Sunday the 17th May we will celebrate the feast of the *Ascension of Our Lord* at the usual hour *8am*

While in the Universal Roman Calendar the feast was yesterday, Thursday 14 May, in our region and many Mission countries, the feast is celebrated on the Sunday nearest to the Thursday of the Ascension so as to have maximum participation by the faithful.

Gospel: Jesus departs but leaves a *Promise* which will enable his followers to proclaim the good news without fear.

I just wanted to remind and confirm that this Sunday 10th May the *6th Sunday of Easter* we will have Holy Mass at the usual hour *8am*

Gospel: the Risen Christ promises he *Counsellor* or *Advocate*(the Holy Spirit) that He will come and guide the Apostles.
The Holy Spirit is still active today, all we need is to ask the Holy Spirit to always enlighten our hearts, minds and *guide our consciences* to doing what is right.

I just wanted to remind and confirm that this Sunday the 26th April the *Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time* we will have holy Mass at the usual hour *8am*

*Good Shepherd Sunday - Sunday for Prayer for Vocations* The Fourth Sunday of easter is celebrated as Good Shepherd Sunday taking from the Gospel in which Jesus uses the door of the sheepfold to refer to himself as *guardian, defender and Good Shepherd.* The church commemorates and prays for Vocation. Duer to that a *Second collection* is requested from all the faithful. The purpose of which being to go to the work of Vocation promotion among the young people as well as financial aid to those in initial formation in the Seminaries.

*HOLY MASS REMINDER*
Greetings dear brothers and sisters. Hoping that you are well as we are still in the joyful season of Easter.

As usual, I just wanted to remind and confirm that this Sunday the 19th of April the *Third Sunday of Easter* we will have Holy Mass at the usual hour *8am*

Gospel: *The Disciples on the road to Emmaus.* Jesus still walks with us especially through the most difficlut and gloomiest of days. The gesture of the two disciples inviting Him into their house because *IT WAS GETTING DARKER* rewarded then with the *Bright Flame of Faith in their Hearts enkindling*, such that they rose up in that *DARKEST hour* of the night and were not afraid anymore and went to proclaim to the rest that He is indeed risen. Jesus still restores Light in the darkest moments of our lives if we allow Him.

*EASTER SUNDAY MASS Time reminder*

Greetings dear brothers and sisters in Christ.

Kindly take note that this Sunday 5 April *Easter Sunday* Holy Mass will be at:

*10am*
..this is to allow for your priests to take a short rest after the Easter Vigil Mass in Kamhlushwa as all our brothers and sisters from the Outstations will converge in the main parish. It is not possible for them to commute twice, for Easter Vigil, then come back again for Easter Sunday which is also a day of Obligation. In the Vigil we will have baptisms of adults and others being received into the Church.

Kindly inform those not this whatsapp group.
