YOUNG MEN'S GUILD CONSOLES TANCU FAMILY AT NDAKANA

Members of the Young Men's Guild gathered at Toise immediately after the Women's Manyano to bring further comfort to the bereaved Tancu family.

The service was led by Mr Mfundo Joka. Mr Sebenzile Mbelu preached from 1 Samuel 3:3, reminding the family of God's presence in times of loss. Mr Siyabulela Krawushi also joined the preaching, and Ev. Vuyani Mazaule closed the Bible.

Bishop Bongani Skiet gave reflections, and Rev Phindile Tayo pronounced the Benediction.

WOMEN'S MANYANO HOLDS XHOMO BHATYI SERVICE FOR MRS NOFANELE TANCU

Members of the Women's Manyano led by President Mrs Thandokazi Skiet gathered today at Ndakana location for the Xhomo Bhatyi service of Mrs Nofanele Tancu.

The members in the second phase, led by Mrs Carol Fanta, joined from Joshua 1:5: “As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Mrs Zingiswa Manga handed over a donation from the Manyano to the family.

The service was closed with prayer, and the family thanked the Manyano for their presence, service, and support.

BISHOP BONGANI SKIET VISITS NZIMENI FAMILY AT MLUNGISI

Bishop Bongani Skiet visited the bereaved Nzimeni family at Mlungisi this afternoon to offer words of comfort following their loss.

In his message of condolence, the Bishop drew from Luke 1:49: “for the Mighty One has done great things for me, holy is his name,” reminding the family of God’s greatness even in times of sorrow.

He was accompanied by Mr Mfundo Joka and Mr Luvuyo Poti. The Bishop was warmly welcomed by Mlungisi Steward Mr Kutu and members of the Society.

Speaking on behalf of the family, Mr Fikile Nzimeni thanked the Bishop for his care and support during this difficult time.

BISHOP BONGANI SKIET CONSOLES MAGXUNYANA FAMILY IN KOMANI

Bishop Bongani Skiet visited the bereaved Magxunyana family in Komani this morning following the passing of his dear friend and fellow minister, Rev. Phumelele Magxunyana.

In his words of condolence, the Bishop drew from Job 24:17, bringing comfort and strength to the family during this difficult time.

He was accompanied by the Secretary, Mr. Mfundo Joka, and Deputy Secretary, Mr. Luvuyo Poti, together with their spouses, as well as the First Lady, Mrs. Thandokazi Skiet.

The Bishop was warmly received by the family, alongside Rev. Simphiwe Conjwa and Rev. Mshumayeli Mdlankomo. The presence of Bishop N. Majeke was also captured during the visit.

Speaking on behalf of the family, Mr. Sandla Magxunyana expressed gratitude to the Bishop and reminded him of the cherished memories shared with Rev. Magxunyana and Rev. Thanduxolo Gqoboka.

ECUMENICAL VISIT

Young Women’s Manyano honoured the invitation from L.L Duze Congregational Church, led by Vice President Mrs. Nombasa Ulana.

The service was truly electric. We presented our donation to the Circuit, who expressed deep gratitude to KIMEC and encouraged us to keep strengthening our relations.

GQEMEC Robing Service | Motherwell

Today Bishop Bongani Skiet conducted the Robing Service of Mrs Nomgcobo Lingela at GQEMEC, Motherwell.

Bishop preached powerfully from Isaiah 61:10: _"He has clothed me with the robe of righteousness"_. Mrs Thandokazi Skiet led the oath and robed her in the blue dress of a Bible Woman.

The Bishop was accompanied by our Secretary Mr Mfundo Joka, Mr Mkhuseli Mbelu, Rev Phindile Tayo, Office Manager Mr Vusi Mpokeli, and all five KIMEC Bible Women. Word of support was delivered by Mr Joka. The camera also captured Mr & Mrs Mlenze in attendance.

GQEMEC Leadership expressed heartfelt thanks to our Bishop and KIMEC Leadership for the spiritual covering and guidance.

UMNGCWABO KAMAMA U QAYISO

Sweetwaters Cathedral was filled to capacity today as members gathered in both galleries to bid farewell to Mrs Nonyameko Albertina Qayiso.

The service was a beautiful reflection of her life and times. KIMEC Choir, with chorister Thabiso, led us in powerful worship. The program was skillfully directed by Mr Mfundo Joka.

Mrs Nombuyiselo Simanga spoke on behalf of Women’s Manyano, honouring her humble character. Mrs Thandokazi Skiet handed over the uniform and reflected on its significance. Mr Johannes Jafta spoke for the Church and requested the Bishop to officiate the burial.

Bishop Bongani Skiet delivered a comforting sermon from 2 Corinthians 4:16: _“Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.”_ Rev Phindile Tayo closed by praying for the mourners and the family.

Rest in peace, Mama Qayiso. Your faith lives on in us. 🕊️

MTHENDELEKO WABANTU ABADALA

Bishop Bongani Skiet led the Holy Communion service from this morning until this afternoon for the elderly members of Zwelitsha, Tshatshu, Sweetwaters, Ndevana, Mdantsane, East London and Bhisho.

The elders were filled with joy celebrating the Eucharist with the Bishop HIMSELF in remembrance of Christ.

Mr Vusi Mpokeli and Mr Monde Homani accompanied the Bishop.

Bishop Bongani Skiet concluded his day by visiting the bereaved Mzolisa family at Rhayi Location to offer comfort and prayer in support of Teen Church members Eyam and Rhema, who lost their grandmother, and to Mrs Phumla Tayo (her Aunt).

Words of condolence were shared from Genesis 32:30 _“Ndibonene noThixo, wahlangulwa umphefumlo wam” / “I saw God face to face, and yet my life was spared.”

The family thanked the Bishop for his prayers and support during this painful time.
Let’s remember the Mzolisa and Tayo families in our thoughts and prayers. 🕊️

Bishop Bongani Skiet visited the bereaved Matshaka family to offer comfort and prayer to Ms Aphiwe Matshaka of Upper Mngqesha Society.
Words of condolence were shared from Revelation 7:15, a reminder of God’s presence in times of grief.

The family expressed gratitude for the Bishop’s care, especially as Aphiwe recently joined the Church. Mr Vusi Mpokeli accompanied the Bishop on this visit.
