Verse For The Day

Psalm 34:18

“The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit.”

Brokenness can make us feel alone. Sometimes we wonder, “Where is God in all of this?” But this verse gives us a beautiful reminder, "God is near."

God does not distance Himself from us when we are hurting. Scripture tells us that He draws near to the brokenhearted. He sees the pain we cannot put into words and understands the wounds that others may never notice.

Healing begins when we stop hiding our brokenness and bring it honestly before God. We don't have to pretend to be strong in His presence. We can come as we are.

Your broken heart is not a place where God cannot work. It can become a place where you experience His comfort, His presence and His restoring power!

Let this verse encourage you today to rely on God’s strength, trusting that He will provide everything you need to walk faithfully with Him!
