It is with profound sadness that the Regional Executive Committee (REC) of the Christian Youth Ministry (CYM) Phororo Region announces the passing of our beloved brother,
Thuso "Big Boy" Mampe
Born: 27 January 1998
Passed Away: 11 July 2026
Brother Thuso faithfully served as a member of CYM Kimberley, having joined the ministry in July 2019. His dedication, fellowship, and commitment to the work of the Lord will always be remembered. We give thanks to God for the life he lived and the impact he made within CYM and the wider church.

Wednesday at 18:00
Dress Code:
CYM Uniform or Black and White attire.
The REC calls upon all PUEs and branches within the Phororo Region to attend the funeral service and stand in solidarity with the Mampe family and our brothers and sisters of CYM Kimberley during this difficult time.
Furthermore, it has been resolved that all delegates and observers travelling to the 9th General Congress who are scheduled to depart on Wednesday should first attend the Night Vigil before commencing their journey. Logistics and further travel arrangements will be communicated to all affected branches in due course.
As a family in Christ, let us unite in prayer, comfort one another, and honour the life of our beloved brother.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
