Topic : Understanding Power and Authority

Read Luke 9:1-2
Then He called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils and to cure diseases. And He sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick .
Matt 10:1 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out ,and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.
Today my hope and prayer is that as a church of the Apostles we understand the power and authority that God has ALREADY given to US.
Understanding the power and authority is the key to seeing miracles happen at our working place , at our beloved houses and at our church .
Jesus Christ has already provided His healing power and placed it on the side of every born again Christian.(us).
It’s up to you and me to release the power and authority.
You have authority and power over All manner of demons and over All manner of sickness! So release your power and authority over your situations today!Amen.
As your pastor, I am saying you must never pray for the sick in the sense that you ask God to heal.
God told us to heal the sick.
Operate in the power and authority,God has given you.
Jesus Christ told us to heal the sick not to pray for the sick.
Don’t passively ask God to do what He told you to do!
Take your authority and power!
Today ,command ,because you are a commander,not a beggar!
Command All manner of sickness,command All manner of demons,cast them out from your room and cast them out from your family and cast them out from the church! Amen.
God wants us to take our authority and His power!
Take courage and be bold and talk to that challenge you are facing.
It is like an electricity.Power company generate power and deliver to our house. It’s not your power but it’s under your command and control.
You don’t have to phone or ask Power company to turn the lights on.
No,they will never do that.
They generate power but it’s you who control, you simply flip the switch on the wall and the power works.
Does that mean you are the power source? Certainly not.
You only command and control!
Assume your authority and acknowledge the power is under your command and control!
Jesus Christ has done His part and now it’s up to you to do your part.
We don’t pray for sick but we heal the sick!
Remember,satan is using the authority and power that was given to man by God,therefore satan cannot do Anything to us without our consent and cooperation.Hallelujah!
Conclusion: As your pastor, I am praying that by faith in Jesus Christ of Nazareth be equipped to forbid and defeat demonic harassment! Amen.
