A GODLY LEGACY – “O God, from my youth you have taught me, and I still proclaim your wondrous deeds. So even to old age and gray hairs, O God, do not forsake me, until I proclaim your might to another generation, your power to all those to come.” Psalm 71:17–18.

What are the people closest to you learning about God by watching your life? A godly legacy is the spiritual heritage and influence one leaves behind, impacting future generations in their faith and relationship with God. Legacy isn't simply what we leave to people materially. It's what we are INSTILLING spiritually in them right now. It’s about passing on things of lasting value to those who will live on after us. But you need to understand that legacy isn't built at the end of our lives, we're building it right now.

Pause and Reflect: People may forget what we accomplished, or owned, but they will remember what we stood for in life. What we were willing to fight for, or perhaps even die for. A life lived for Christ, is the best legacy to leave behind. Let’s pray, “Lord

help me to pause, ponder and pray. May my thoughts, words and action be acceptable in Your sight, in Jesus name, amen!”

A CURE FOR FINANCIAL FEAR - For the love of money is the root of all evil … 1 Tim 6:10.

Today’s verse issues a sombre warning: the love of money is the root of all evil. The verse warns against the toxic love of money and serious consequences. It says “which while some have coveted, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.” A greedy heart is never satisfied. When Jesus tells the rich young ruler to sell his possessions and follow Him, the man walks away sad because he loves his money more than God. God is NOT against you having things, He is however, against things having you. Whilst money in itself is NOT evil, the LUSTFUL desire for it is. We accumulate wealth, hoard possessions, against the uncertainty of tomorrow. But the Bible says, “Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”

Pause and Reflect: So today let us follow the wisdom of the Scriptures “Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” (Heb 13:5). This phrase conveys a powerful message of God’s faithfulness; not just a casual companionship but God guaranteeing His presence with the security of provision. When we truly believe this promise, we naturally lose our fear of lack. Instead of stressing over material wealth, the peace of contentment comes, defeating the spirit of mammon. Trust your Provider who walks beside you every step of the way.

A REALITY ALTERING FAITH - Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Heb 11:1.

A true, positive confession doesn’t deny actual truth. It just refuses to stop at the problem but speaks forth the solution. Lazarus was dead, Jesus said he sleeps, but He ALSO said “I am the Resurrection and the Life” and that Lazarus would live. Therefore, it is not wrong to acknowledge a physical problem such as sickness just as long as we acknowledge the Word, “by his stripes we are healed” (1 Pet. 2:24). Faith is living from a greater reality than the one we see around us. Faith is seeing and reasoning from divine perspective. When we see who God is and His promises we live with the awareness that He has a divine solution for every problem, and we are positioned to partner with Him to see His breakthrough come.

However hopeless a situation may seem at times, we should never allow circumstances to become our reality. We are not people led by feelings, but by faith. The answer is that we must have a reality-altering faith, rather than letting our reality alter our faith. We must say, “This is what I believe and upon this Rock I stand.” Replace those deadly expectations with some godly expectations; Declare: “I will not die, I will not perish, but I will see the goodness of God in the Land of the Living.”

*HOW DO WE OVERCOME THE WORLD* - be of good cheer: I have overcome the world. John 16:33

The answer lies in *1 John 5:4*; "For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world - our faith." To overcome the world, we must place our COMPLETE faith and trust in the Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. If you truly believe what God the Father DID through his son, for His son, then we too like Jesus, can place our complete faith in the capable hands of the Father as well. We know that as the father took his son through the ordeal of the Cross, and brought Him out alive on the other end, He will do the same for me as well - this I believe! True faith requires a secure object; something tangible to believe in and not just a vague feeling.

Therefore, I believe that I will come out the other side of this ordeal without the smell of smoke upon me, nor shall the waters go over my head in Jesus name, Amen. I now possess the tokens of Victory. I can declare with the utmost confidence, "no weapon formed against me, shall prosper." This is the greatest example of triumph over evil.

WANTED: ORDINARY PEOPLE FOR EXTROADINARY WORK - So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt.” But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt? Exod 3:10 – 11.

Until the burning bush moment, Moses had been hiding in the desert taking care of sheep. He also had a speech impediment. God could have found someone with less baggage, someone more eloquent, someone who looked successful and was dressed the part to grace Pharaoh courts. But He chose a loner like Moses who was certain the Israelites wouldn’t believe God had sent him and that Pharaoh would NOW despise him. However God knew that Moses had exactly what he needed to fulfil his assignment.

You TOO may be fighting your calling, feeling inadequate as Moses did. But understand that it’s your availability that God wants, not your ability. His strength is made perfect in your weakness. Before you give up on your destiny, remember God does NOT call the qualified; He qualifies those whom He calls. Let’s go to God in prayer, “Father, thank You that the calling You put in my heart is far greater than the mistakes and failures I’ve made. Thank You for the supernatural work that You are doing to change the trajectory of my life. I declare that I will fulfill my calling. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
