A) HOW TO DEAL WITH PROBLEMS:

> Every person has problems: even the wealthiest individual on the globe has challenges in life. There are times when problems feel overwhelming and like you might not be able to get past them. But by taking responsibility for your problems and setting a path to correct them in a constructive way, you can deal with any problems that come your way.

1. Stay as calm as possible.
2. Accept responsibility for the problem.
3. Evaluate situations before you respond.
4. Find a quick solution.
5. Identify problematic patterns.
6. Set goals to solve problems.
7. Keep your expectations realistic.
8. Take action.
9. Support your goals and actions.

B) PROBLEM SOLVING:

i) Sometimes we are unable to solve problems because our emotions get in the way of thinking clearly (Emotional barriers).

ii) Sometimes, we cannot find a solution to a problem because we seem to get stuck in our thinking (Restricted thinking).

iii) Sometimes, an answer to a problem appears suddenly and we wonder why we didn't see the solution before (Insight).

iv) Sometimes we fail to solve problems because we think that something can only be done in one way (Learned barriers).

v) We must never forget to take our problems to God in prayer because He cares for us...

C) Three solutions to every problem: Accept it, change it or leave it. If you can't accept it, change it. If you can't change it, leave it.

📖 "He who is faithful in what is least (minimum, smallest) is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much." (Luke 16:10)

LESSON:

A. Verses 10-12: If people are responsible in small matters, they will be responsible in large ones. A disciple uses goods that belong to God, not to him.

He needs to show that he is responsible. God can then trust him to look after other people’s spiritual needs. And then God can trust him with the riches of heaven. (EasyEnglish Bible Commentary)

B. God’s people should realize that they are answerable to Him for the way they use their goods and money. In God’s sight they are not owners of these things but managers.

If they are generous in using what God has entrusted to them, God will reward them with permanent riches. If they are selfish, there will be no reward (Luke 16:10-12). They have become slaves to money and therefore they are disloyal to God (Luke 16:13). (Bridgeway Bible Commentary)

B) Instead of race, we should see people.
Instead of race, we should see individuals made in God's image.

Instead of race, we should see one with a heart and character.
Instead of race, we should see brethren of one blood.
Instead of race, we should see sinners in need of Jesus Christ.
