All praise is due to Allah and peace and salutation upon our beloved Master and Prophet Muhammad S.A.W

As Muslims we should always remember that nothing happens without the will of ALLAH and that ALLAH is in control of everything. ALLAH can change conditions at any time as we are witnessing. Things that we take for granted can easily be taken away from us, that’s why we always encourage to make shukr for every nimat we have.

In light of the announcement by the President on the Coronavirus and in order to comply with the restrictions, we have decided to implement the following:
• All Musallees should wash their hands with soap before coming to the mussallah
• We urge Musallees to perform wudhu at work or at home in order to limit infections.
• Brothers that wish to come with their own Musallah for salaah are allowed to do so.
• Sunnah before and after Jummah salaah should be read at work or at home.
• Should you have any symptoms of the virus, please be responsible enough to perform your salaah at home and DO NOT come to the musallah
• Seeing that our Jummah Salaah is above the restricted amount, we have designated specific time slots namely Jamaat A - 12.30, Jamaat B - 12.45, Jamaat C - 13.00 and Jamaat D 13.15 for the Fardh Khutbah and FARDH Salaah only.
• PLEASE ADHERE TO THE SLOT DESIGNATED, SHOULD THIS BE INEFFECTIVE, WE WILL HAVE TO TAKE MEASURES TO COMPLY.
• Brothers and sisters are requested to increase their Istigfaar and Durood.

• Please SMS or Whatsapp 084 915 1046 with name contact number and Slot required. A confirmation with a slot number will be send to secure space.

Please note that the O.R TAMBO International Airport Salaah facilities will be totally closed with immediate effect and until further notice. This applies to both the male & female facilities.

There will be no Jumma salaah as well until further notice.

ORTIA MUSALLAH’s female prayer area was flooded yesterday due to a blocked drain.

The irresponsible disposal of tissues, nappies, etc in the ablution area has resulted in extensive damage to the carpets and plumbing.

Whilst ORTIA MUSALLAH has employed cleaning staff we further plead to fellow worshippers to respect and take care of the facilities.
