The solution of the time
“Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons,”
1 Timothy 4:1 ESV
“Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own,”
1 Corinthians 6:19 ESV
* It is a terrible thing to live in these times and not have solutions to the problems of these times.
* When we received the Holy Spirit we received an advocate, a counsellor, a comforter etc.
* Paul spoke to the church in Corinth and emphasised that their bodies are the dwelling place and temple of the Holy Spirit- this means the Holy Spirit must have the right to speak freely and express Himself to the vessel which houses Him.
* A believer stands by listening to the Holy Spirit.
* The Holy Spirit is a Spirit Who speaks. He is alive.
* The Holy Spirit speaks so He can empower and enrich us as He speaks. He fore-warns us of things to come.
* When He is within you, He will speak and cause you to do. He speaks so we can do.
* We are different people with different backgrounds and characteristics but when we arrive to the journey of salvation and form part of the body of Christ, we die to self and become people who are led by the Holy Spirit.
* The mark of a person who has met with Christ and allowed the indwelling of the Holy Spirit is change in character.
* “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.” 1 Peter 2:9 ESV
* When the Holy Spirit finds a vessel He speaks expressly- do nit quench Him.
* Demons are operational at this time (the latter times) teaching demonic and false doctrine that removes people from the faith.
* Doctrine and the Word not applied with the help of the Holy Spirit can cause people to be lost in the faith.
* The Holy Spirit within a believer is the only way the believer will stand in these times.
* ““And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days.” Joel 2:28-29 NIV
* Inasmuch as demonic activity will be rife in the times, the Lord will also pour out His Spirit and enable us to prophesy.
* The church interprets the last days by the exceeding availability of God’s power by His Holy Spirit who is poured upon us and also dwells within us.
* We must prophesy under the influence of the Holy Spirit not under the influence of the alleged power that comes with prophesy.
* In these days there is a rise in false prophets- we must be filled with the Holy Spirit so we can discern the Holy Spirit.
* “and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people.” Matthew 24:11 NIV
* The help of the times will come from dreams and visions that will be seen by all people upon whom the Spirit falls.
* Your body is a temple.
