Ex-Satanist John Ramirez warns Christian parents of the dangers of celebrating Halloween. “It’s like having a one night stand with the devil. There's a quote by Anton Lavey, founder of the Church of Satan, where he says in his own words, 'I want to thank every Christian parent for allowing their children to celebrate the devil one night out of the year,' which is Halloween. He's intentionally thanking Christian parents. Thank you for dressing up your kids, changing their identity, sacrificing spiritually."

He likened the practice to having a "one night stand", saying: "We go celebrate Halloween; we're in bed with the devil for one night. To me, it's like, why would you want to cheat on Jesus? Jesus doesn't cheat on you. I don't see the satanists coming to your church to cheat on the devil. No way!"

John Ramirez was once one of the highest ranking warlocks in the world, until Jesus saved his life. His friends called him “Lucifer’s Son” because Satan himself would visit him regularly in his bedroom to talk about strategies for destroying people’s lives. One night John had a near-death experience where he found himself in hell, but Jesus showed up himself and gave him one last chance to come to Christ. John took that chance and never looked back.

Ramirez came back from that near-death experience and destroyed $100,000 worth of satanic paraphernalia in his New York home, and was then "tormented for 30 days” by his past demons. But it didn’t stop him from living his new life for Christ. Today he is a Pastor, evangelist, and best-selling Christian author, and he warns the church of the dangers and realities of spiritual warfare.

"The only harvest we should celebrate is the harvest of souls," Ramirez said. “Jesus Christ is your answer. It's a relationship with God. Make peace with God...Pray. Prayer works. The power of Satan is limited. It's a hoax. And the power of Jesus is limitless and it brings you to a place of knowing your purpose and destiny of who you really are created to be."

Question: "How can I know for sure that I will go to heaven when I die?"

Answer: Do you know for certain that you have eternal life and that you will go to heaven when you die? God wants you to be sure! The Bible says: “I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life” (1 John 5:13). Suppose you were standing before God right now and He asked you, “Why should I let you into heaven?” What would you say? You may not know what to reply. What you need to know is that God loves us and has provided a way that we can know for sure where we will spend eternity. The Bible states it this way: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).

We have to first understand the problem that is keeping us from heaven. The problem is this - our sinful nature keeps us from having a relationship with God. We are sinners by nature and by choice. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). We cannot save ourselves. “For by grace are you saved, through faith, and this not of yourselves – it is the gift of God. Not by works, so that no one can boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9). We deserve death and hell. “For the wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23).

God is holy and just and must punish sin, yet He loves us and has provided forgiveness for our sin. Jesus said: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). Jesus died for us on the cross: “For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous to bring you to God” (1 Peter 3:18). Jesus was resurrected from the dead: “He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification” (Romans 4:25).

So, back to the original question – “How can I know for sure that I will go to heaven when I die?” The answer is this – believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved (Acts 16:31). “To all who received Him, to those who believed in His Name, He gave the right to become children of God” (John 1:12). You can receive eternal life as a FREE gift. “The gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23). You can live a full and meaningful life right now. Jesus said: “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full” (John 10:10). You can spend eternity with Jesus in heaven, for He promised: “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you may also be where I am” (John 14:3).

If you want to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and receive forgiveness from God, here is prayer you can pray. Saying this prayer or any other prayer will not save you. It is only trusting in Jesus Christ that can provide forgiveness of sins. This prayer is simply a way to express to God your faith in Him and thank Him for providing for your forgiveness. "God, I know that I have sinned against You and am deserving of punishment. But Jesus Christ took the punishment that I deserve so that through faith in Him I could be forgiven. I place my trust in You for salvation. Thank You for Your wonderful grace and forgiveness! Amen!

Something to think about:
"If your soul is full of junk (lies, hate, bitterness, bad behavior, TV, etc.) your mind will always be infested with flies (demonic hindrances) and the only way to freedom is to clear-out your junk and to live for Christ Jesus"

The saying goes "Junk in, Junk Out"

What does the Bible say about ancestor worship?

Answer: Ancestor worship involves religious beliefs and practices consisting of prayers and offerings to the spirits of dead relatives. Ancestor worship is found in many cultures all across the world. Prayers and offerings are made because it’s believed the spirits of ancestors live on in the natural world and are thus able to influence the futures and fortunes of the living relatives. Ancestors’ spirits are also thought to act as mediators between the living and the Creator.

Death was not the sole criterion for being worshipped as an ancestor. The person must have lived a moral life with great social distinction in order to attain that status. Ancestors are believed to influence the lives of later generations by blessing or cursing them, in essence acting as gods. So praying to them, presenting them with gifts, and making offerings are done to appease them and gain their favor.

Evidence of ancestor worship has been found at sites in the Near East in Jericho dating to the 7th century before Christ. It existed in ancient Greek and Roman cultures as well. Ancestor worship has had its greatest influence on Chinese and African religions and is found in Japanese and Native American religions where it’s better known as ancestor reverence.

What does the Bible say about ancestor worship? First, the Bible tells us that the spirits of the dead go to either heaven or hell and do not remain in the natural world (Luke 16:20-31; 2 Corinthians 5:6-10; Hebrews 9:27; Revelation 20:11-15). The belief that spirits continue to reside on earth after death and influence the lives of others is not scriptural.

Second, nowhere in the Bible are we told that the dead act as intermediaries between God and man. But we are told that Jesus Christ was given that role. He was born, lived a sinless life, was crucified for our sins, buried in a grave, resurrected by God, seen by a multitude of witnesses, ascended into heaven, and sits now at the right hand of the Father where He intercedes on the behalf of those who have placed their faith and trust in Him (Acts 26:23; Romans 1:2-5; Hebrews 4:15; 1 Peter 1:3-4). There is only one Mediator between God and man, and that is God’s Son, Jesus Christ (1 Timothy 2:5-6; Hebrews 8:6, 9:15, 12:24). Only Christ can fill that role.

The Bible tells us in Exodus 20:3-6 that we are not to worship any god other than the Lord God. Furthermore, since diviners and sorcerers were thought to be able to contact the dead, they were also expressly forbidden by God (Exodus 22:18; Leviticus 19:32, 20:6, 27; Deuteronomy 18:10-11; 1 Samuel 28:3; Jeremiah 27:9-10).

Satan has always sought to supplant God, and he uses lies about worshipping other gods and even ancestors to try to lead people away from the truth of God’s existence. Ancestor worship is wrong because it goes against God’s specific warnings about such worship, and it seeks to replace Jesus Christ as the Divine Mediator between God and mankind.

Whose fingerprints are these?

There is no question that Satan is evil, has only evil motive and desires to lead all people to self-destruct. Nevertheless, he cannot do anything by force. He is not violating any person’s free will. All people will stand accountable unto God on the final day and no one will be able to say, “The devil made me do it!”
With this being said, there is no question that Satan has great plans for evil, but he needs willing participants to bring it about. Every act of evil that is accomplished on this earth has human fingerprints on it. Sometimes we fail to realize that sin and evil came into this world because of human choice and not by demonic force. When Satan was in the Garden, the world had not yet fallen. His evil presence did not make anything evil in the world. It was not until Adam and Eve chose to cooperate with His deception that evil entered in. The Scriptures are clear that it was“… through one man [that] sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned …” Romans 5:12
