"WHATEVER YOU LOST MUST GET HOME NOW IN JESUS CHRIST”~1 Sam 9:20,Luke 19:10

“As for the donkeys you lost three days ago, do not worry about them; they have been found.”~1 Sam 9:20
“For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”~Luke 19:10

Good morning?

Indeed there is pain in losing something. When something valuable goes missing, it disturbs our peace. It keeps our mind restless. It drains your strength.

In 1 Samuel 9, Saul is moving from place to place searching for his father’s lost donkeys. Days have passed. He is tired maybe losing hope. He is discouraged. He is about to give up.But when he meets Samuel, the prophet tells him.

“Do not worry… they have been found.”Before Saul stopped worrying, God had already solved the problem.

1. Loss is very Real
Saul truly lost something. And today, many of us have lost something at one time or another. Lost joy,Lost peace,Lost opportunities,Lost direction,Lost spiritual fire,Lost years
Like I said loss is painful. Loss is confusing. Loss can make you feel forgotten. But hear this clearly: loss is real, but it is not final when God is involved.

2. God knows what we Lost
Before Saul explained anything, Samuel already knew, this means heaven was aware. Reader you may think nobody understands your struggle. Sometimes you may feel like your prayers are unheard. But I want to assure this day that God knows:
The tears you cry privately. The battles you fight silently. The things that slipped out of your hands. Nothing that you lost is hidden from God.

3.Loss May Lead to something Greater.
Saul thought he was searching for animals. But God was arranging kingship. I was imagining,if the donkeys had not gone missing, Saul would never have met Samuel. If he had not met Samuel, he would not have been anointed king. Sometimes what you lost was pushing you toward your destiny. That disappointment may be divine direction.
That delay may be divine preparation. God can use loss as a bridge to purpose.

4. Did you know that Jesus came for the Lost
The Old Testament shows lost donkeys being found. The New Testament shows something greater in Luke 19:10, “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”
Jesus did not come for perfect people. He came for lost people, the lost sheep, the lost coin, the prodigal son. Jesus searches, restores and brings home. Our Sin made us lose, shame made us hide like Adam and Eve,fear made us wander. But Jesus came to bring us back home.

5. It is time for Restoration
Samuel declared, “They have been found.”
Today, this week, this month, this year through Jesus Christ, restoration is not just announced, it must be accomplished. Speak the name of Jesus on your lost peace and it must must come home. Your lost spiritual passion must come home, your lost confidence must come home, that lost hope must come home, lost identity in Christ must come home. Since Jesus came to seek and to save the lost.

Saul began the journey as a servant looking for animals. He ended the journey as a chosen king. You may feel like you are searching in confusion. But God may be positioning you for something greater.

Shalom!!
