Young.Jewish.Joburg Sydenham SpiritShul and its YoungJewishJoburg events cater for Jewish students & young professionals under the leadership of Rabbi Yehuda & Estee Stern

The SpiritShul offers Johannesburg's Jewish students and young professionals (ages 19-39) the opportunity to connect, socialise and learn in a welcoming and relaxed environment. We have weekly Shabbat Shul Services for young adults at the ‘Sydenham SpiritShul’, with a lively and uplifting Friday Night Service followed by Kiddush and Delicious Brocha. You can find us on the 1st floor of the Sydenha

m Community Centre. We also host regular YJJ Friday night dinners with guest celebrities, parties & social events and a variety of learning experiences that attract hundreds of Jewish young adults.

🕺 Followed by a lively Friday Night Service in Shul led by Moshe Lichtenstein & Singers

🍽️ And then we'll get together for our Friday Night Dinner in the Community Centre
