On Saturday, the 16th of May, the Catholic Women’s League (CWL), celebrated the enrollment of new members, as well as anniversaries of existing members.

Six new members were enrolled, while three members celebrated 10 year anniversaries, two members celebrated 20 year anniversaries, six celebrated 25 year anniversaries, and two celebrated 30 year anniversaries. Both groups also presented gifts to the church.

May the Good Lord walk this journey with the newly enrolled, while continuing to shine His light on those who celebrated their anniversaries. 💙🙏🏾

On Sunday, the 10th of May, the members of Kemolo pinned new members. We pray that the Good Lord continues to walk this journey with them. 🙏🏾🩵

On Saturday the 16th of May, SMICYA (St Margaret/Immaculate Conception Young Adults) will be hosting a career fair.

Professionals are welcome to have a stall. Businesses are welcome to promote their businesses for free.

They will also have a stationery and book drive where they’ll be collecting stationery and reading books for children and students

All information is available on the posters below. Food and refreshments will be sold.

Some moments captured on the 3rd of May, when Mina Nawe was celebrating Anniversaries and Milestones of the different married couples within our parish.

There was a solemn moment to honor the deceased spouses through the lighting of candles. The couples received blessings from the parish priest.

We ask that The Lord continue to be with those who have passed, and to bless those that remain. May their marriages continue to grow, anchored in God’s love. ❤️🙏🏾

Dear Parishioners,

You are warmly invited to join in praying the Novena to St. Joseph to Find a Job. In these times many among us face the difficulty of securing dignified, steady work — a struggle that can weigh heavily on the heart and spirit. The Church reminds us that honest labor is not only a means to provide for ourselves and our families but a noble vocation through which we participate in God’s providence.

St. Joseph stands before us as a powerful model of holy work. He faithfully labored as a carpenter, providing for the Holy Family and teaching our Lord the value of honest toil. We celebrate this gift of work on the Feast of St. Joseph the Worker (May 1st), and many have found comfort and hope by seeking his intercession when searching for employment.

Let us come together in prayer, trusting in God’s mercy and in St. Joseph’s loving care. Please join the Novena as we ask for his guidance, perseverance, and assistance in finding work that is dignified, sustaining, and in accordance with God’s will. May our prayers strengthen one another and fill us with renewed hope. St. Joseph, faithful worker and protector of families, pray for us.
